I haven't seen your first two threads, but speaking sincerely from my own heart and reflecting upon my own posting history........you're not the first and you're not the last. I hope you hang around. There's a whole lot of us that are misfits in one definition or another. Please reconsider Terra.

Sincerest apologies from Terra Incognita
by Terra Incognita inmy sincerest apologies to anyone and everyone on this forum who read my first two threads.. i guess i started posting at a bad time in my life.
not too thoughtful of me but not insincere.
i have always been a little lacking in the social graces department partly because of my jw upbringing.

'Separate the wheat from the chaff' in 2011
by Gorbatchov inthe april 2011 pioneer action of 30 hours is a kind of 'separate the wheat from the chaff'.. think about it: 40 percent of our congregation is pioneering.
the other half of the congregation has something to explain.... i don't report hours for years.
although i'm not "too sensitive" it feels like "standing fully outside the group".

At different stages of your life, what did you lack, that deprived you of fulfillment or completeness?
by miseryloveselders ini don't believe that there is such a thing as a perfect, or an ideal situation.
ideal is the more appropriate word to use, because the word itself denotes a conception, a remote possibility, not a reality.
i'm asking you, in your lifetime, have you ever found complete fulfillment, or felt complete within yourself, and your accomplishments?

Identify what you lack, figure out if you want it and, in you do, then go get it!
-Sab
Well, I know what I need to do, but I'm asking all of you, and you too Sab. At any point of your life, do you recall something that you really felt deprived of?

I don't believe that there is such a thing as a perfect, or an ideal situation. Ideal is the more appropriate word to use, because the word itself denotes a conception, a remote possibility, not a reality. I'm asking you, in your lifetime, have you ever found complete fulfillment, or felt complete within yourself, and your accomplishments? I'll tell you what generated this question, it was a brief conversation i just had with an engineer I see occasionally. We always do small talk when we come across each other, whether it be in the elevator, or as today out in the rain. For instance, yesterday, on the elevator, I asked him how was his weekend, and what he did. He replied that he went to the movies. I can't recall what he watched, but I do remember that he went alone.
That was interesting to me, because typically when I see a movie, I'm by myself. I don't make plans to go to movies, but rather if I'm in the area doing whatever, I might go see a flick to kill some time. Well today, during my lunch break, I took a walk, and its chilly, windy, and rainy, and it fits my mood. I just downloaded a beautiful mixtape and it played as the perfect soundtrack to this weather. I stopped at this huge office building and hung out briefly under its overhead roof, to pause, enjoy the air, and observe people. He came out of the building, which isn't surprising because his work takes him all throughout town. Here's how our conversation went.
Him: What are you doing out here in the rain?
Me: Just getting some air. The thermostat on our floor is set at hell, and I needed some air. I don't care if it was twenty below. I had to get out of there.
Him: Why are you standing here of all places, in this weather? You don't work in this building too do you?
Me: No my walk took me here, I'm still at the building up the street. Just killing time, besides I like this kind of weather. Feels good today. I have my umbrella, some good music, I'm feeling good today.
Him: I gotcha. The only thing your missing is a woman though right? (with a grin on his face, that only other males recognize)
Me: Ha ha, I guess you're right man. Can't have it all right? Ha ha
Him: Have a good one man. (he went on his way)
Truth be told, he's right, that is the one thing that I'm lacking right now. But you ever ponder that there's always something that you'll be lacking in life? Even when I was a kid, and there was the Constructicons who were a faction of the Decepticons, the bad guys in Transformers. There was six of them to collect, and if you could get all six, you could put them together to form the ultimate bad guy, Devestator. I never did get all six, only 3 or 4 if I remember correctly. Nowadays, you can buy a package that has all six of them together for like $70 at your nearest toy store. How come that wasn't available when I was a kid? Oh well, so it goes.
You catch my drift though right? I'm asking you just out of curiosity, at different stages of your life, what do recall lacking that would have given you fulfillment, if even a false sense of it? Did you ever accomplish certain goals, only to be dissatisfied looking to create another goal of some sort to give you a sense of complete purpose?

MAtthew 25:37-40
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Somtimes I think they look at this verse and use it to justify their lifestyle both to themselves, and to the average JW that believes they are the so called faithful and discreet slave. What kills me is, these verses dont say anything about funding the lifestyle that they currently live. Didn't say anything about paying for both them and their wive's health insurance, funding trips to exotic countries to deliver talks or oversee so called relief efforts which is nothing more than a glorified vacation. Didn't say anything about financing the local KH's and making money off of the interest in Walkhill, never mind you that the money that built the Hall in the first place came from the publishers in that congregation. Didn't say anything about publishing a ridiculous amount of publications and literature that largely ends up in the closets, basements, attics, and garbage cans of both JWs and nonJWs. Didn't say anything about the Regional Building Committee, the Legal Department at the Branch, funding COs and DOs, along with their wives, and their leased vehicles and furnished apartments or houses they use, along with health insurance.
And ya know, on top of all that, they still have the nerve to badmouth anyone who seeks further education to support themselves and their families more efficently.
Hey Watchtower, stop mooching in Jehovah's name!!! Friggin bums!!

If not for this religion, would the word, "destroyed" be part of your vocabulary?
by miseryloveselders inever since being a kid, i've been a huge fan of transformers.
i watch the original series sometimes at midnight, and bounce back and forth between it and he-man.
back when i was a kid, you couldn't tell me nothing, as optimus prime was second only to jesus, and third to jehovah.

Even man generally cringes at the thought of murdering a huge swath of civilians in war. But God has a lower standard? He would do so? In hindsight, the rainbow seems like a bait and switch kind of promise. Ah, but I didn't promise not to kill most of you again; I just promised not to do it by means of a flood. Somehow, the difference doesn't seem very relevant.

Both amazing - but what really amazes me is why this six-screens koolaide spamming is still permitted on this forum.
I can't see how it adds a thing. Maybe somebody else does. Balanced and fair apostacy, we're like Fox News and MSNBC combined. DJEggNogg contributes unknowlingly to the apostate cause, and Rick Fearon contributes unknowlingly to the WT's cause. It all works out in the end.
