i was hoping that someone out there in jwd land may have the cheescake factory's mojitio recipe.
Are you still interested in Mojito recipes? I have some great ones and would be willing to share. I even have Fidel Castro's private recipe I got from a Cuban bartender.
I also feel the Cheesecake's one is not that great because it doesn't make good use of fresh ingredients.
Fresh ingredients, how the flavors are released, and most importantly, how it is savored, equals a nice Mojito.

i've been gone for a while but i kind of miss you guys and gals so i decided to see what was up.
for me i found out a few days ago that in my old congregation the gossip about me ( i was first shocked that there was any gossip about me) is that i have started my own cult and i have a few followers (ex jdubs) wow!
i fell on my ass!
Visiting my old cong.......Gossip went on a rampage. They thought I ran away from my wife and became a Baptist. The gossip became so bad that when I showed up at the meeting, to visit and get some of my things, somebody refused to talk with me, thinking I WAS DF'd. When finally believing the truth, he hugged me, and was glad I didn't fall away afterall.
Another JW who had been storing some stuff for me threw it all away thinking I had left the truth.
Speaking of gossip getting out of hand.
True, I wasn't communicating with them my fad-away status, but.........gossip knows no bounds with the JW's.

knorr reported on getting an unexpected windfall of cash when they sought to buy the towers hotel.. but from where i sit, jehovah seems to have become very ungenerous towards these would-be theocrats, in recent years.. they dumped subscriptions.. they cut literature.. they went to paperbacks.. they cut magazines, by my count, for the third time.. they laid off bethelites.. they sold off brooklyn buildings.. they sold off printing/binding equipment.. so, now their latest 'litmus test' of jehovah's will is to simply dump the magazines in one lump and tell people to only take what they need.
For a group that has boasted they use the latest forms of media to spread the word, you would think they would use the greatest source of information, the Web, to "Advertise! Advertise! Advertise! The King and his Kingdom! But nooo. They are curling up in a corner and hiding from the world.
By the way, the Web is a cheap, cheap, cheap way to reach all of mankind with a message. So why are they are not using it to its fullest? Because they can't make money from it like they do the mgs and books?

For me, it was the first Anti-JW video I've seen.
I found it on the corny side, but corny can sell and reach some people. Many of the points I've heard from the JW's, so I liked that.
I personally would not have made my video that way. I would have done a more straight up version with role playing. But hey, I'm not into the video stuff.

I have a cheap gold wedding ring which I can't find and a gold railroad watch from yesteryears. My wife on the otherhand has some stuff that would make the queen of England jealous.

If you are going to use a sticker label, it should be prominent, and a teaser line should be added so there is no doubt why it is there.

after thinking it through i was wondering if any of you have ever heard of someone being hurt by a householder in field service.. .
like i mentioned in my latest thread about the sister who was murdered and then her death was blamed on her.. i know in the hall i grew up in there were many sex offenders living in the area.
The most dangerous thing for me was being chased by animals. Usaully dogs, but have been run down and had to leap on the car for safety by a goose, a pig, and goats several times. Oh yeah, once a rooster attacked me at the door and drew blood.
I've had friends killed in car wrecks while in service, but I don't think that's what you are looking for.
