Any Comment On The Amanda Knox Verdict?

i think the verdict was not based on anti-americasim as the boyfriend was italian and was also convicted.. i think the irresponsible journalisam and charactor assasination on a persons character to sell newspapers and gain t.v ratings reflect badly on english journalisam.

i think this must have effected the thinking of a jury allowed to be exposed to such media frency.. sadly english jounalisam has been responsible for helping convict innocent people in the past.

the wimbeldon common murder and false conviction of colin stagg was a classic example.. i also remember how in america (many years ago)a au-pair from england was convicted of shaking a baby to death.

Sadly English jounalisam has been responsible for helping convict innocent people in the past. The wimbeldon Common murder and false conviction of Colin Stagg was a classic example.

I also remember how In America (Many years ago)a AU-Pair from England was convicted of shaking a baby to death. The English Press sure of her innocence created such an outcry that the girls sentence was overturned.

The press has such power to control the thinking of its public. Poor old (Gay) Oscur Wilde compared with the now sympathetic attitude to the death of the boy Zone star. I remember how the press nearly destroyed Elton John because of his sexuality.

They slaughterd Gary Glitter but were more sympathetic to Pete Townsend of the Who.

For the sake of our kids It is wise to have a property to leave them as an inheritence.

It started as a suspician

the painful truth that bought the watchtower walls crumbling down for me, was not due to to the realisation that the techings were all lies but.

the realisation that many of the elders in the congregation were only interested in their social position and power.. this started and a suspician and gradually became more insistent and finally the realisation that most of the body of elders couldnt care less about the doctrine.. i then observed that many of the more zelouse brothers in the congregation cared more for the security of belonging to the congregation than if they were teaching truth.. this coupled with the fact that 50% of the congregation were simply going through the motions and had know enthusiasm for preashing the "good news"made me question the teachings.. i have been amazed that i havnt been disfellowshiped as i confronted some elders and brothers in a forceful way and the conversations proved my thinking was correct.. i then simply left the meetings never to return.

whilst iam more cautiouse in my talking when i meet members of the congregation in the street i always make it clear i do not go to the meetings because i couldnt continue preaching a message i dont believe.. i have felt a responsibility to tell the hypocrites of the damage they are doing to their kids futures so they can continue in there hypocrasy-.

Could it be that they know I know an elder lied in court on a seriouse matter ?

The last time I had any official contact with the congregation was when 2 elders came to see me. I simply told them about the court matter and said in my opinion it was a police matter.I then asked them to leave.(The doorstep)

according to mak 6v 3 jesus had 4 brothers and also sisters.. mary was a virgin when she got pregnent with jesus.

she must have been very young.

her husband joseph was a carpenter and carpenters were due to the nature of their profession away from home for long periods .. so what is my point.

i have had beers in the pub and conversation with a former guitarist of lynyrd skynyrd.

gul huset (sweden) wow(freebird) skynyrd are my favourite band.. i went to the same college as george michael and andrew ridgley of wham (they were 2 years older than me) cassio college (watford) i remember them as 2 guys always by the pool table but not cocky-.

geri halliway( spice girls) whose mother was a jehovers witness grew up 2 streets from me.

If you had to compare successful worldly people you met with Goverment body members or prominent Brothers and Sisters who were the most humble.

i don't see why wts wouldn't want to disclose jw info to the agency in question but deal as mediatory body between the two?

Great point desings

For many death in the chimneys woulld have been a clean sweet escape. Better than the after pain of survival. Particularly for those who lost loved ones.

I live in Sweden and it is common for survivors to tell their stories in schools to educate the young. This really does have a positive effect on the youth and gives them far more mature and adult considerations about life -

I really admire the survivors who tell their story. Seeing the pain as they tell what they would rather forget. I admire the courage and the success they make on their listners lifes.

Compensation should be an individual thing.

I think we live in an age of victimhood. The aging of Holocaust perpertrators has blurred distinctions. I mean the perpertraters of the Holocaust were not only "The Nazis " Many Germans, Poles and Jews ect also played active roles in aiding the "Nazis"

As Rutherford was also to some degree a perpertrator in the Holocaust by his letters to Hitler (Which were sent to protect the societys property) I think it is reprehensible for the society to coerce survivors into donating compensation.
