Did You Think The Capitol Riot Was Worse Than What Happened On 9/11?
by minimus inin my lifetime 9/11 was the worst thing that i can recall.
the effect it had was incredibly horrible!
almost everyone seemed to know someone that was either directly or indirectly affected by this diabolical act.

What are your personal reasons for hating the Jehovah's Witnesses religion ?
by Rocketman123 infirst thing comes to mind is that this organization through its leaders are not witnessing the true and honest version of the gospel teachings of jesus christ .. they are subjectively teaching/preaching a tainted version made up by the top controlling men of the organization, which i'm sure is connected to the proliferation and distribution of literature which these men publish themselves.
.
when jesus said that no one knows of the time not even he, he didn't say a select few will know .. the other thing that bothers me is this organization promotes human ignorance on many levels, admonishing education or knowledge that mankind needs for its very survival... there are many other religious organizations that do this as well but the jws is just one of these organizations.

Hate is not the right word but I very much dislike their self-righteous arrogance, their mean spiritedness, their condescending contempt for the vast majority of the people in the Organization and their perpetual dishonesty.

Do You Love The Country You Are In or From?
by minimus inmost people over the generations have taken pride in their heritage, nationality and country they are from.
it’s not uncommon to hear of “proud” italians and proud irish people , as an example.
are you proud of your country and your nationality or do you feel shame or indifference?.

I have lived in multiple countries but I was born and am currently living in the US. I love this country, it's still the country with the most individual liberty and a proud heritage; the vast majority of the malicious Leftist propaganda is without context, is vastly distorted, or is flat out false. I also really like Switzerland, Norway and the UK. If I had to pick another country it would probably be Switzerland.

Does this look like the WT is going to be around a long time? One Watchtower @ One Awake for the public in 2022
by pistolpete ini keep hearing that the watchtower org is going to be around forever because of the many other religions that have been around a long time.
but i disagree because the wt is not like other religious cults.. the watchtower's breath of life is dependent on the last days that started in 1914. .
you can’t change 1914 without a death blow to the entire organization.. the watchtower's 2nd reason for staying alive, is it's continual urging that the life saving preaching work of warning people is the most important work ever.. but- it's very obvious to many, even the old ones that instead of speeding up the work------the work is slowing down to a drip.. comment by former believer; .

I wish it weren't so but I believe they could drop 1914 and a large percentage of the people in the organization wouldn't even quiver. From what I've seen it's mostly the older ones who still have some kind of doctrinal understanding and the majority of them are simply incapable of admitting that the organization is fundamentally flawed and consistently dishonest. They will hang on because they can't admit they've been duped for their entire lives in the organization. -

Liberal vs. Conservative mental health study - what do you make of it?
by Brock Talon ina pew study from 2020 (but one i just now came upon myself) reported that the more liberal you are, the more likely you are to have a mental health condition.
the worst suffering group are white females, ages 18-29 where over 56% have admitted to be described by their own doctors as having a mental health condition.
conservative females of the same age group suffer at less than half that number (27%).. while women tend to have more mental health problems than men (don't be mad at me for saying it, this is what the study reports) it is notable that liberal men have a higher percentage of mental health conditions than conservative women in the same age group.

Being a Liberal requires cognitive disability of some kind, usually several kinds.

What’s Your Opinion of Vice President Kamala Harris?
by minimus ini think she has the happiest laugh i’ve ever heard!.

She's a not very bright slut who screwed her way into office and who masquerades as a minority, she's more Irish than black and more Indian than Irish.

Critical Race Theory…do you think kids should be forced to be taught this in schools?
by minimus ini do not support crt.
but having said that i find it disturbing that schools are teaching children whatever they want to teach.
if parents object or even teachers refuse to teach something, anything that violates their conscience or morals, i don’t think government or schools have the right to push these people to accept it.

Critical Race Theory is straight up Marxist propaganda. The Reds have moved on from national movements to race. They are entirely cynical about using the gullible for their own ends.

Never bought in to the 'don't prepare" BS and neither did my parents. I retired a millionaire and I am glad I did, I knew quite a few others that made reasonable provisions for retirement. I don't have much sympathy for those that preferred to live like grasshoppers, they can't blame their circumstance entirely on the organization.
