If you mean an American Anglo, I agree. If you mean this time around, I also agree. But there is a small chance that a Native American or hispanic American bishop will someday be elected to the papacy, perhaps within our lifetime. And I think there is a good chance the next Pope will not be European--that alone would be a remarkable turn of events!

the former preacher at a jehovah's witness church in phoenix was arrested last night for allegedly playing strip poker -- and doing a lot of other sick stuff -- with a 14-year-old boy more than 30 years ago.. .
That elder may wish he'd done the deed someplace else, instead of the place known for the "meanest sherriff in the country". I hope he's serving that short sentence this summer, in the tent city.
