When I am in a calm mood, I plan on showing information about the other people who do this, and then in a few months I will show them that they do the same thing. It's aggravating isnt it

How many of you knew about the"Jesus is not your Mediator" teaching when you were JWs??
by Lady Liberty inhi everyone.... just curious how many of you knew when you were active, about the societys official teaching regarding jesus the mediator.
i was floored to find in my research, that they teach jesus is the mediator for the 144,000 only.
and it is only by our association with them that we might have salvation.. i don't know about you guys but i was blown away when i learned they taught this.

She complains "I am NOT a crack ho ... anymore, I stopped using crack....Now I am just a ho" LOL My wife is SOOOO cool. I'd be totally cool being called a crack ho by my husband and its for the exact same reason your wife is cool with it. Its completely false, a joke and lighthearted (well, maybe inappropriate in some households, but sarcasm in our house *if lighthearted* is fine).
If the lady is clearly not "old" and it is clearly understood to be a term of endearment in a strange sort of "opposite" way (like the huge guy always being named "Tiny" or "Little Mike" or something unexpected), then the clearly understood "opposite" term, "Tiny Dick" might be appropriate.
But since it is an attack on a man's manhood, he would have to know that it is an opposite and she doesn't think it's tiny at all, the same way she knows he doesn't find her old. Here's the thing: I AM older than he is, although I'm obviously hotter than he is Just as calling a man "Tany d*ck) is an attack on his manhood, even if not true, is the SAME thing as calling your wife an ole lady....you're suggesting she's old. (I'm trying to say 'tiny' in a country way, get it? TA-nee...lol...cant figure out what to type. I could say it with a British accent: 'ToYnayyy' ). I don't consider myself highly sensitive. But I am a woman and dont think a man should be talking to his friends about his OLD/OLE lady. It's disrespectful, and its nice to see others agree.
Onthewayout: my man likes it when I call him Stupid, Idiot, and a$$, but I dont. Men are so weird.

Ok, first off, the aLL-knoWING Wikepedia says it is slang. Now, what I am saying is that the fantastically gorgeous woman involved
is not even KIND OF OLD (watch it, sixofnine). Furthermore, if the wife called the husband 'old man' in return, then she would just be a follower. Since she is not an "old lady", that means its a false term. So I say the wife can choose any false name for the man (and, YES, it IS a false name if ya know what i'm sayin). Parakeet, your comment made me smile...

Just Thought I'd Share..
by AwSnap inwe have some close, non-jw extended family staying with us....they drove 700 miles to get here.
they will be here for a week....so far it's been about 5 days and my jw sibling has seen them for one hour.
my sibling has been doing field service, family study, there's a meeting tonight, and family worship night.

I'm just really over the toxic way my parents are. I've ordered some books on that exact subject http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/beliefs/59414/1/Toxic-Parents-Toxic-Religion and feel I will be ready to cut off all ties with them pretty soon. And on the bright side, I still have the best feeling in the world, knowing I've just spent a fantastic week with people who really know the meaning of unconditional love. And the Xmas tree my cousin helped me buy & decorate is AWESOME!!!
