  Hot Body or a Hot Face?

  i was reading a local newspaper that did a survey with regards to whether men prefer a hot body or a hot face.

  men where shown a variety of pics of women with hot bodies, plain or not so pretty faces.

  and then hot faces and normal to not so wonderful bodies.

  the lawsuit has been given the green light and is basically has remained intact almost exactly the way it started.

  what are the odds of that happening?

  I joined an ex-jw forum a Lonnnnng time ago and wasn't sure if it was this one. So I was scanning the names around what I may have joined under and saw this guy's username. I have no idea why I decided to check him out...maybe because my heart was tugged when I saw the name "shunned father". Anyway, I read up on his 'stuff' and wonder what the update is. It seems a lot of the present posters commented on a bunch of his threads. Was there any success? Also, is there a post on the actual reason for the lawsuit? I got the jist of it, but was curious as to the whole story.

  hello guys!i am just introducing myself here.

  i have been visiting this site for about a year but never really posted much but i have really learned and enjoyed the topics on this forum, in fact i think this is the best discussion forum i have yet to come across .. a little about my situation is i am a non religious person married to a devout witness, when i met him 4 yrs ago he was out in the "world", never really mentioned his beliefs as we were enjoying life without it.

  the more we dated the more i realized that something wasn't right.

  Oh, good grief....stick around here. I could really understand SO MANY of the things you said. Might I suggest ordering a couple books?.... Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz. And Steven Hassan's 'Combatting Cult Mind Control' as well as "Releasing the Bonds"(this one is a bit more expensive but well worth it). I would not tell your hubby of these books just yet...until you read them. They have great advice on ways to ask questions without forcing them to put their guard up. Best wishes....

  a "Blood" experience...

  i was speaking with a lady today & found out she's been a nurse in the blood transfusion unit at our hospital for the past 15 years.

  i said, "i have an off-the-wall question for you...i was having a discussion with somebody about jehovah's witnesses.

  i know they're not allowed to get blood transfusions but they can get fractions, right?

  Try telling that to any JW that they are actually getting blood and it you will not get a response. Brain dead! Well, I did exactly that...guess what happened...? They pulled out the Reasoning Book and showed the different types of fractions of fractions of fractions there are and showed how the Governing Body says it's a conscience matter for each individual. My reply in a nutshell was: BUT ITS STILL BLOOD & there is no other way (according to the NURSE FROM THE BLOOD TRANSFUSION UNIT) to get these fractions & the Governing Body says it's okay to do it. Their reply: The Governing Body does NOT sayyyyyy it's okay to take these fractions. Do you see anywhere here where they sayyyy it's okay? I made some kind of laughing/exasperated noise and said C'MON ARE YOU KIDDING ME? ......For Real....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

  Brain dead. Then again, a seed may have been planted. We shall see.
