  It's not that I'm ashamed of you, Aguest . I just prefer to keep this aspect of my life a bit quieter. I've already gone through the shunning by one family member. So far, everyone else in my family lets me do my own thing. They know I celebrate holidays (despite the fact that I was baptized and never DF'd or DA'd).

  But we all know they're in a high mind control cult. Mention the word APOSTATE, and they get visions of people foaming at the mouth with crazy bloodshot eyes. lol. I'm happy with the way my life is right now, so I'll try to keep it that way.

  Like I said, its not a problem that this particular person busted me (since he no longer practices and Im certain he wont turn me in).... its just unnerving that we are in such a gigantic world, with people posting here from England, Scotland, Australia: And I got busted by someone who lives 10 miles from me. Im not to the point where I'd be okay if my parents-in-law checked & saw me posting here. I'm daring. I say what I want. I'm rebellious.

  But in real life, I'm chicken $hit. hehe.

  Yes Purps... it was kind of funny the way he excused himself just to say "AWWWWW SNaP" to me and how I knew EXACTLY what he was referring to.

  Laverite, he didnt tell me what screenname he uses here. He just said that he hardly ever comments. Why do you ask?

  Soldier77, I only WISH I was that smooth. LoL. I am a TERRIBLE liar....well, unless the elders or GB are involved.

  Hello (you know who you are), if you see this thread! I walked into where he works the other day. He was with a customer but excused himself briefly....just long enough to say to me: "I've just got 2 words for you: AwWWWW SNAP!" and then he went back to helping the customer.

  We chatted after he was finished with work.

  Apparently, I gave away far too many details in the last thread I started. Thankfully, he had his own jw drama and isnt a practicing jw anymore. I'm not too freaked out that he busted me....but it made me realize that it could've been anyone who made the discovery. Time to be more careful.

  LoL, thats what seitan looks like before you cook it & slice it. I usually pull it into ittybitty pieces before I throw it in the pot. Consistency of Pork & tastes like chicken! Chinese resturants call it Mock Duck...I've never had duck so I wouldnt know if thats accurate

  I make Seitan weekly. Its pronounced SAY- TaHN (rhymes with John), but I like saying that I eat SATAN. lol

  So Snowbird, how do you go about making the pad tai sauce? Whenever I make it, its always too soy-saucey

  Mrs Jones, yes, I am annoyed and bitter that I am being shunned. And yes, it helps me want to tell on them. I am trying to put that aspect aside. This is why I am taking time to think about it and get opinions. I am not making any rash decisions. I do not know what WIC is, and I am not sure if they are on/with that.

  What if she is depressed and feels like she can't work anymore? What if she thinks that she will be killed by God because she can't do enough for the society? This is a possibility...hence the reason I havent taken any action yet.

  What if she really is injured and you just don't know it? She's Not. I DO know this

  Maybe she actually NEEDS the support of the system for a reason that you have NO IDEA about!!!!!!!!!!! Uhhhh, I dont think I deserved the trillion exclamation marks. My reason for judging is the fact that I've heard many statements from the husband before they started shunning my family. They believe Field Service is the most important thing, and they are taking advantage of the system.

  Yes, its legal. But I still believe its unethical. I'm just going to let karma work its magic.
