so an apostabuddy wanted to stage a silent protest at the assembly hall where she was baptized.

we went today.

the plan was to wear these apostate t-shirts that had stuff printed on them about thinking for yourself, and a bunch of websites.

Should i break up???

i need advice specially from those wise women and men from this forum, who has been in a relationship for long time.

here is my situation, i am dating a guy for 4 months now and everything was going smooth, but since a month ago , he is been going out with some friends.... my boyfriend only has 2 full days off during the month , every other sunday, last day off he went all day with his friends to the beach and i was ok with that, but today he is calling me to ask me if i am ok with him going with his friends again all day to the beach.

we dont go out that much and maybe we go out one time a week and is for dinner or something like that, i dont think of myself as clingy but i dont like this pattern...... should i break up?

NC hit this out of the park IMO. The first thing that stood out to me was that you told him yes when you meant no. Have a chat with him about your needs and his, then go from there.

Secret Elders Meetings & Armaggedon Checklists from FDS ...

the faithful slave has put out a list of things they think jw's should have on hand, due to the closeness of armaggedon.

if jw's dont have such a list they can ask their local elders for a copy of such.... .

does anyone know about such a list ???.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, i remember an 'unofficial' list being passed out during a local needs part in my former congregation. It included all the things you would find on a Red Cross disaster list like blankets, waters, flashlights etc. Also, efforts were made to update addresses, phone numbers and emergency contact info for each publisher.

Research Data Wanted: Married to a JW or child of one parent in and the other not

i am looking for information from several groups of people.. people who are no longer jws but have a spouse who is still in.

never-been jwswas a jw (baptized or not) but left after marrying and spouse remained indfed, daed or faded and still have a spouse who is inchildren (now grown) who were raised with one parent a jw and the other never beenchildren (now grown) where one parent left the jws and one stayed in.if there are categories i have missed let me know.

i need this to be pretty inclusive and focused on couples where one person is a jw and the other is not.. i will be asking questions re:.

"Mentally diseased" article to be published in The Independent tomorrow

hi everyone.

as a parting gift to you all before i take a much needed break from this forum, i thought you would be pleased to know that the independent, a leading uk newspaper, will be publishing a piece on the "mentally diseased" watchtower article in tomorrow's edition.. i would like to thank everybody who has assisted the journalist, jerome taylor, in his investigation.. best wishes to all of you,.

next sunday is the discussion of the 7/15/2011 wt article about shunning.

i am planning to stand outside of a kh on a major street with a big banner that says that the jws do indeed destroy families with their shunning policy.

i will have many copies of the article that will be discussed that day.. anyone else have any plans?.

Many dubs give the side-eye to protests at KH's and assemblies but if you planning something akin Mouthy's protest, then go for it. Place "Jwfacts" on the banner. Are you fully out? Will this be risky to your fade?

I worked on the costumes in a handful of dramas. Single sister were hardly ever selected for roles. That may have to do with incident of a sister hooking up with a married bro, they met during drama rehersals.
