the wts has gone off the rails and is "unrepentantly" hateful.
they are blatantly requiring mothers and fathers to disown/hate their own children that they have loved and cared for since birth simply because they don't comply with the orgs demands.
how is this love?

i have looked around and i don't see this covered, so i am starting a thread.. 1) the new "blood card" goes beyond being just a "blood card".. 2) a new edict concerning compliance.. pay attention to the changes.. first, the new card is termed "advance decision to refuse specified medical treatment".
the big change with the card itself is that it includes an 'override' of your "power of attorney".
this is huge.
There has never previously been any requirement that copies of the card be submitted to witnesses and/or the BoE.
This is new and very concerning for the secretly-awakened, still active JW patient who wants to maintain his/her standing in the congregation while preserving his/her freedom to exercise confidential choice with regard to consent to/refusal of blood transfusion--without judicial interference and repercussions.
Something ominous is afoot.

anyone who has awakened to ttatt and has conscientiously left the organization--especially a once-prominent, highly-regarded, studious true-believer from a celebrated multi-generational tribe of jws-- after decades of devout, high-profile "serve-us," who continues to put in an annual appearance at the memorial thoroughly subverts and undermines, by this one act, any hope s/he may entertain that his/her departure will stir family or former friends to question the whole watchtower bamboozle.
by this one concession s/he assigns him-/herself by every single jw to their handy and dismissive purgatory: the "spiritually-weak.".
Problemaddict, you have hit the nail on its head! There you have put it succinctly.

One does not, indeed need not, come right out and say anything-- that is, unless and until approached. It's the non-attendance that finally moved others, after years, to muster the courage to contact me as to my reason. It is then the opportunity to speak, to the extent one strategically chooses, is afforded, without the appearance or accusation of activism or inciting dissension.
Btw, I couple this strategy with making it a point to consistently attend the funeral services at the KH of all those for whom I had affection in order to allay any gossip or suspicion that I am in hiding for whatever reason. Trust me, it works magnificently in confounding and prompting inquiry as to my motivations!
I can only speak to the success of my own and nearby experiences. Obviously YMMV.

"It can be intended and interpreted as a signal that you simply don't take the whole thing very seriously."
I like this point and think it quite valid for those wishing to make no more than a casual impression. For those, however, fervent to awaken others to the egregious crimes of the WBTS, my personal experience evidences non-attendance to be the most effective.

By this one concession s/he assigns him-/herself by every single JW to their handy and dismissive purgatory: the "spiritually-weak."
Nothing blasts a louder, clearer, and more deliberate message to the JWs who personally knew you and to those familiar with your JW bona fides that you are not merely "not making the meetings," "inactive," or "spiritually-weak," but that there is a conscientious reason you have rejected the entire Watchtower Society life than choosing to forego what they know you once believed to be Jehovah's must-attend, one-and-only, holy/sacred event of the year for his people, the Lord's Evening Meal.
You hand them the very justification they so relish to self-righteously label you as a "submarine Witness" deserving of Jehovah's, and more importantly, their judgement.
Much more tragically, though, you squander your prize opportunity to nudge thinking ones to seriously ponder the possible reason for your shocking departure. Again, all accomplished without any confrontational unpleasantness.
Attending the Watchtower's Lord's Evening Meal, even though likely well-intentioned or for many understandably unavoidable at present, is still a colossally misguided go-along-to-get-along concession for anyone whose genuine and sincere intention or desire it is to awaken others to TTATT.

i am seeing and hearing many, many long-time jws openly expressing problems with either the watchtower society itself, the publications, changing doctrine, incorrectly living their lives as a result of bad doctrine, the behavior of the boe and other related things.
i will share some of these things in several posts, because there are just too many of them.
the complaints that i hear from publishers and pioneers are many.
According to OP:
Where I live, it feels as if many active publishers and others are feeling discontent, to say the least, and can't hold it in any longer. The "Generation" is a biggy. I hear all kinds of complaint about that all the time
Response:
Local congregations have always had their fair share of malcontents who are dissatisfied with specified elders but who still believe the organization is under Jehovah's direction.
Clearly, some of the dissatisfaction and complaining has to be regarding "Jehovah's organization" and not merely toward local bodies of elders as even the most deluded JW understands that interpretation and doctrine hail only from the Most Holy and not from any local yokels.

i saw the coordinator heading for the stage and hit record on my ipad.
i was shocked but here it is.
here's my typed transcript of the letter he read:.
The branch office will appoint another circuit overseer in due time
I would say this has more to do with the one CO and is not indicative of retiring all CO's.
I seriously doubt the pink-slipped CO would've been allowed by the Society to contact congregations with such a letter if his "reassignment" had related specifically to him for some confidential reason. The only communication would be official and come directly from HQ bearing some camouflaged language. Plus I doubt the guy would've feigned such cluelessness in his letter if he was aware something really was up with him and his wife.
That seems to indicate that they're not getting rid of or decreasing the number of COs in general, but are maybe getting rid of the older ones who are getting to the age that they might be more trouble than they're worth. This guy's letter clearly indicates he's been told absolutely nothing, including whether a truly new CO is being assigned. He's likely merely assuming. He knows for certain only that he and his wife were given the boot. So it could be all of these scenarios, some, or only one.
What it's very unlikely to be, however, is 'none of the above,' imo.
