  I'm A Better Parent Than Any JW.

  i was sat watching tv tonight, her ladyship was dozing after a hard day, george the cat was purring and number 3 son had fallen asleep.. number 2 son was talking on the phone to his girlfriend, number 1 was out selling finance to prospective home-buyers.. know what?

  these sons of mine know that i am always on their side, no matter what they do.

  i can't think of anything that they could do to stop me loving them.

  I got a kick out of your topic line Englishman, because I thought most animals are better parents than JWs! Good post my friend, and for an Englishman, it was good reasoning, too!

  Terrible tradgedy - more deaths...

  not the terrible act of terrorism that we all saw on tv.... i was thinking of the 30,000 children under the age of 5 who will have died on the same day from malnutrition and other preventable diseases.

  slow, horrible deaths.

  these people are poor but the parents must love them as much as any 'rich westener' loves theirs.. the real tragic thing is that another 30,000 will die today and another 30,000 tomorrow... over 12 million a year in total .

  you cannot distribute wealth forever. at some point wealth must be earned and built.

  Passing out money does little more than passing out fish because the next day folks are hungry again. However, what are the causes of global disporoportional wealth? Lazy mothers who would rather hold a dying child instead of working? Perhaps she would feel better working in the diamond mines for pennies a day and still not have access to medical treatment. The idea of wealth being "earned and built" is impossible for most folks in Third World Countries.

  I'm sure people living in Third World Countries feel bitter knowing how others live in Industrialized Developed Nations. TR also made a noteworthy point about corrupt governments withholding aid to their citizens for various reasons, thus adding to the suffering because of greed are for political reasons. Indeed, we need to remove terrorist from society, but not stop there. We also need to honestly examine the causes of global disporoportional wealth, and find ways to correct that form of violence. Until then, the bitter will always be with us.

  The Watchtower continues proving the GB is made up of fearful cowards. Someone on another thread posted the URL the Society's PR team put up about aiding others during this disaster. I guess they let a few JWs into the building, and made it seem like they were out there helping frightened citizens in need. The GB are cowards and without morals by locking down the headquarters when the rest of NY opened their arms to help. I imagine the Tower's PR team must lie in order to present anything making the Watchtower Society look normal.

  Easy answer, the males are not wearing ties. One can't make it into the Kingdom Hall or the New System without a tie! BTW, the burning building in the background looks a lot like Bethel. Does that mean their presses overheated from spiritual food?

  I thought the same thing while reading this satire. You mentioned War of the Worlds and Mt St Helen, and I still remember the mind-set millions of JWs had around 1975. We were sure Jesus was coming too (some put off surgeries and sold business), with less evidence than a toga Jesus and floating sex dolls!
