I see you are sneaking into the library and using their computers when larc trusts you are doing his laundary at the river. As a woman who knows her place in the family arrangement, I'm certain stealing time from your household duties causes a measure of guilt (as it should). Larc is a wise and loving husband--indeed a role model for all spiritual men. Like Eve, you look beyond the paradise (that larc created in 6 days) and long for the false cyber companionship of others. Return to larc and ask, no beg, his forgiveness. Larc is a jealous husband, and every woman must call out his name. The world has numerous Larc's Witnesses throughout the world selling magazines so others can say his name and do his laundry. I implore you ZasuWitts, leave the library and go back to the river before it's too late.

NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - A man charged with molesting three girls argues that meetings where he discussed the accusations with his Jehovah's Witness elders were confidential and can't be used as evidence.

Gregory Blackstock, 45, of Hollis, faces eight counts of rape, punishable by up to 20 years in prison. He is scheduled to be tried in late January.

Before then, however, Judge Bernard Hampsey must determine whether church elders who met with Blackstock to discuss the accusations involving the sisters can be made to testify about their conversations.

By court rules and state law, church ministers can't be made to disclose confessions.

Hillsborough County Attorney Roger Chadwick argues that Blackstock's discussions with the elders does not qualify under the confessional privilege, because the elders also discussed Blackstock's statements with the girls' mother.

Blackstock and his lawyer, Richard Monteith, argue the meetings were confidential, and to intrude on that privacy violates his constitutional freedom to practice his religion.

"Our procedure is a biblical procedure, and it's designed to keep the congregation clean and to bring the wrongdoers to repentance. It is the tenet of our beliefs that everything is held in the strictest confidence," said Joseph Fuoco, an elder who has been subpoenaed to testify.

i have 3 sisters still in the org.

is it still called the "org"?

2 of them maintain no contact, one because i'm an evil apostate, the other is two faced about it(nice on the phone 2x a year, but does not let anyone know about the contact) the 3rd is pretty cool about it, we e-mail alot and i call monthly( all live 1200 miles away).

Well, looking back it is just difficult to believe I was so stupid. Every cult in the world claims to have a special knowledge or to be the only true belief, from the Garbage Eaters and the Branch Davidians to the Scientologists, the Witnesses are just one more in this destructive, controlling bunch.

Gurnt, nearly all of us went through the "I can't believe I was so stupid" stage after leaving the Tower. We couldn't see how foolish and destructive we were while singing the Society's Looney Tunes. Sects like Scientologists, Moonies, and the Witnesses treat their followers as children, and it doesn't take long before followers act like they're treated--children. That learned behavior is not really what some call "brain washing," but more like the "self-fulfilling prophecy" as described by sociologist and others. You're right, nearly all high-control religions claim they have the only key to God, and all others will die. When you stop and think about it, only children and adults treated like children buy into the swill coming from the Tower and groups like them. It's good to grow up, yet difficult believing we were there. It's times like this I'm glad I've got a good memory; a good SHORT one!

When I was at Bethel, Karl Klein was leading morning worship one day and they had just recently dismissed and disfellowshipped a Bethelite that day. After the announcement of the dfing was made, Karl decided to give pretty much a service talk on sexual immorality. He told the story of two JWs who were married but not to each other who decided to have an affair. These two JWs were disfellowshipped for adultery and eventually got married to each other and were reinstated. About a year or so after they got married these two reinstated JWs had a baby who was born with birth defects. Klein referred to the child as a "mongoloid child". He then went on to state how God had punished these two JWs for their adultery by allowing them to give birth to a child with birth defects. Most of the Bethelites were pretty upset by Klein's comments and I guess someone talked to him because the next day he apologized for his comments.

However, a few months later a friend of mine was asked to leave Bethel for speaking critically of a GB member among other things. Guess which GB member he had spoken out against and over what issue....You guessed it! Klein's comments about the adulterous JW couple.

Karl was an absolute worshipper of Fred Franz. I know that some of you know the story, but Karl called me in for an unexpected meeting at his office one afternoon not long after the Sanchez's and Quilan's were evicted from Bethel. He proceeded to speak without letup for nearly two hours about how some in the Writing Dept were subverting Freddy's truths. He had books open to various pages and quoted and argued the points by the writers whose names he stated clearly. He would often drool on himself while he spoke.and when he finished he leaned back in his chair and said no more, having a blank stare. I asked him it that was all and he never replied, so I left. I knew I had been in the company of a certifiable nut.

Hey, I just talked with larc, and he said he got you a NEW WASHBOARD for Christmas. However he does have a request when you go down to the creek with the washboard; please use a little less starch when doing larc's underwear. He really appreciates getting his laundry done twice a year, but it takes 3 months for the starch to wear off, and another month before his skin heals.

Don't feel too sorry for JAVA - He now has an intelligent, very pretty spouse who is also warm and gracious and even bakes terrific pies; and, to boot, she has no exJw hangups. How much better could it be for him - right JAVA?

Yes, I've taught her everything she knows. Of course it wasn't easy; today's women act like they have equal rights, which creates problems in the Christian family. I let her out of the house so she can earn a little pin money to buy treadle-sewing machine needles, and she has a healthy environment by plowing the garden after removing a few tree stumps. However, I appreciate the fact that she doesn't come from a JW mind-set; and Mormon women don't mind the other women in the house!
