Museums growing at the branches especially Warwick
by benny ini am not sure if this has been discussed but last night mid week meeting about organisational accomplishments really got my goat as the example of the temple was used.
people contributed to the building of the jewish temple and now the museum and bethel in warwick.
this supposed .be evidence of god s guidance.

Well.....I keep tabs via this website. On one hand I do not care one whit...but after 40 some odd years inveigled I feel like I want to see how they continue...and the downward spiral is interesting on some level. The religion is not the one I was raised in...and it angers me that so many of us lost so many good years of our lives to foolishness. What they present today seems just plain useless and pathetically stupid. But...people like comfort zones and apparently there is a cross section of humanity that finds that comfort in this particular cult.

09-2019 Monthly Broadcast
by Solzhenitsyn inunderwhelming as usual.
of note is the ridiculous amount of time spent encouraging the r&f to "do the math" on various chronologies.
oh if only they would do the math from their own publications on the error of 607/1914.

Discarding all that wonderful spiritual food at the proper time. Such a waste of nutritional nuggets.... What is the real reason behind getting rid of old publications?

Few observations made at the RC
by Crazyguy2 inonce again the mention of jesus was or has been very little this truly is an old testament cult with some sprinkles of pauline writings to help them in their doctrines.
i also noticed how mixed up the congregations are at this and probably other rcs.
some of the local congregations are here near the rcs site but also ones almost 100 miles away as well , yet other local congregations are not scheduled at this time.

Staring at assemblage during prayer?!? Weird! Counting cars...now that is bizarre...I would hazard a guess that parking fees maybe on the horizon...if they can find a way to get around the logistics and legalities....

How to avoid getting disfellowshipped for having a wordly girlfriend?
by cookiemaster inhey guys, i've been pimo going on full inactive for a very long time, 5+ years.
pretty happy with the current situation.
over the years, i've gotten lots of grief from the local elders and cos for my inactivity, attending wordly public events and social media posts.

And the big donation idea is just plain ludicrous. Ever hear the saying "a fool and his money are soon parted" ??

Yikes...lot of good feedback....my thought is to come clean and honest with all concerned. It may cause family problems but once the air settles in the long run will make for a much better life for you and whoever you end up with in a long term relationship. You can't base a life on pretense...it is unhealthy and will come back to bite you eventually. If you do not feel part of the religion, cut loose. You can date anyone you choose and have whatever relationships you decide on...no religion should bind you or cause misgivings about your personal choices. Good luck!

I'm with Laurav on this one...not at that level of lazy and hope I never am. Plus the hackers issue...seems to me you're setting yourself up for potential problems.
