A young brother, who does not attend meetings frequently, but knows everything that happens in the congo, he is also a regular visitor of Kingdom hall's library (to pick up some old books), just told me that most probably, one of the elders will send me a sms on my mobile to invite me to the special meeting held by the CO!
Are They afraid to come in front of my door?

i started a topic like this about 4 years ago but, as you'd expect, most of the images no longer show so here we go again .

Does the Watchtower place itself above Jesus?
by sacolton in"the world is full of bibles, which book contains the commandments of god.
why, then, do the people not know which way to go?
because they do not also have the teaching or law of the mother, which is light.

The Wathtower leads people to apostasy: The Creator is Jehovah, thanks to God they still believe to the Ramson Sacrifice of Jesus, but it is, thanks to them, that we can understand the Bible, then? They perhaps feel to be THE HOLY SPIRIT, who gives light on the scriptures..........

If you try to avoid their telephone call...they will came to your door, without appointment.....
Last attempt: they will send you a registered letter! You cannot escape them!
In order to avoid telephone calls from elders, or from the kingdom hall, my husband selected a message on our home telephone, only for such numbers: when elders try to call, the message says: the subscriber does not wish to receive such kind of calls !!!!!! LOL

Well Automn is suddenly here. Few rainy days and now sunshine with cold temperatures and cold wind from the north, near freezing point, early in the morning. The woods are showing the most beautiful palette of red, yellow braun.
I’ve been around in the countryside near home, picking walnuts. I have also been searching mushrooms but no chance, woods are too dry because of too little rain, I will retry next week, I love mushrooms! I could also collect pears which have fallen on the road.
I feel an athmosphere of calm down, relax, to retire peacefully.
This morning we took out of the garden summer chairs, tables, lots of green plants which could suffer because of low temperatures, everything is inside for now till April.
In the morning at around 7, 7.30 it is still dark, now at 7pm is already the sunset.
On the 26 th of this month we will have to move back of an hour our clocks so that at 7am will be clear and the dark will fall at already 6pm., though in November December at 5pm will already be dark…..so sad!
I love summer, the heat, the open air life, the light..I will have to keep quite during some months.

As a JW Were You or Someone you Knew Falsely Accused by Elders ?
by flipper inthought i'd put this out there to see if you knew of people in the jehovah's witnesses who were falsely accused or mistreated by the " police " or elders in the congregation.
many times it's been by experiencing injustices that get us to get shaken out of our cult thinking mode and reality kicks in and the scales fall from our eyes that the wt society is just a man made organization whose leaders are no better than us - actually in many cases more unscrupulous and conniving than any of us would have ever been to each other !
i was falsely accused 2 times .

Oh yes, oh yes.
First experience:
My husband and I have been falsely accused with a false report written by the elders. The whole story is almost complicated, produced a lot of suffering and cry and restless nights, with the consequence of loosing our trust in the organization.
In a few words it concerns the CO, who was an arrogant man criticized by all the elders of the circuit who where complaining with my husband who was in charge of the organization of circuit assemblies. The DO asked then to my husband to submit to him a report on the CO…guess what? He became mad, and organized (behind our back) to discredit the whole family, pushing the elders and the new CO to write an accusatory report on us, full of lies, defamation, libel, slander. My husband produced two witnesses in order to prove the slander, asked for a judicial committee; the Watchtower did nothing to clear up the question. After months waiting for JUSTICE, my husband resigned as an elder, the whole family lost their trust in them…it has been the beginning of the end! Now we are free!
Second experience:
A young brother of the congregation got his divorce from his JW wife who had left him. He did not attend regularly the meetings and started to search on internet about the Watchtower. An elder visited him after many months on his working place, and he told him that he needed a reflection period, ok the elder promised to come back after a month. He came back, but the young brother was busy (since he came without any appointment). In the period he missed the meetings, ( more than a year) he remarried and his new wife (non JW) was on the point of giving birth, but since the elders didn’t know he was remarried, they thought they had catch him ‘in the sin’. Later, in a conversation he explained that he was remarried. We don’t know what were their feelings, because short after the conversation they have announced his disfellowshipping WITHOUT informing him!!!! It has happened by now, that the elders announce disfellowship WITHOUT previously informing the person concerned!
It is unbelievable to which point they feel free to push their arrogance.
PS: I hope having explained in a clear way....

Not just information to help people leave, but a community on the internet
by OnTheWayOut ina recent thread asked if ray franz's book was instrumental in people's decision to leave wts.
many left before the book was out, many left on their own without the book, most read it afterward and it was instrumental in their never going back.
a bunch of people got their information about wts from the internet.

The malicious acts toward us by the Watchtower’s CO and elders, induced my husband at first to ask: WHO ARE THESE GUYS? Is this my mother or what?
He explained to me his discoveries on the internet which I could’ not believe…after almost 50 years in the org, it is hard to accept.
Our way out from the Watchtower has been determined by three factors:
- Discoveries on internet about the real face of the Watchtower
- The (2) books of Ray Franz
- Forums of ex JW , were I was so surprised to found that so many persons who felt the same….
Forums have been really helpful for me, for the first time in my life I could write and explain my feelings, criticize, and explain reasons, feeling to be of some help to others. I translated the ‘Barbara discoveries’ experience in my language. Lots of ex JW read it, and when travelling with Barbara, one ex JW told me that reading Barbara’s experience (in his own language) was ‘enlighten’ to him, after reading, he decided to dissociate, and with him 10 others in the congregation.
ONTHEWAYOUT: Very interesting thread!
Very nice thoughts FLIPPER: I want to help others who exit to have a soft place to land to begin exploring their new life in freedom.
