  i guess i've just been naive.. i was surprized to find that some 'super loyal'.

  witnesses i know have been practising witchcraft.. of course, they'd never call it that - it seems that.

  when various illnesses arise you get out an assortment.

  In Oklahoma there is a Jehovah's Witness woman who looks into a person's eyes and can tell what is wrong with a person. She sells herbs and other crack pot medicines to these people after they have been "diagnosed". I watched her in action, she shines a flashlight into your eye to make the pupil small, and then "reads" the colored part of your eye. If this was a good idea, medical doctors would do it. It looked like witch doctor medicine to me.

  Blood pudding Watchtower style

  wts recipe for conscientiously making and eating blood pudding: use dehydrated blood.

  its just that simple.

  according to wts policy, jws can use fractions of red cells, white cells, platelets and plasma.

  You make a good point. However unless I am wrong red cells, white cells, platelets are all still banned as is. Only when they are broken down are the acceptable. This is perhaps the most stupidest rule Jehovah's Witnesses have. Blood was banned by the Jews just like eating pigs was. So why do Jehovah's Witnesses eat pigs and not use blood?

  Question on anger

  hello everyone, i was wondering how those of you who are so angry .

  deal with your anger?

  i at times am consumed with anger at the wts, and to those who will tell me to just move on, well i did move on but its not so easy to totally dismiss everything when you still have family there.

  Maybe it will be some help to you. Some of the articles are very good, and anger is one of the steps to recovery from a cult. I had to deal with it, but the site allowed me to get past it.

  Literature Price List at your Hall?

  my mum was telling me today that her congregation has a list of guide prices for the literature so that brothers have an idea what they should be contributing.

  she has been told it was put up in response to request.. i am curious to find out if this is general practice or what?.

  I have not been in a year. Last year they had no such list, but it would not surprise me, because many were confused as to what should be donated. I am sure they came up with some kind of "loving" arrangement.

  the latest inside u.s. figures reveal that 86% of jw children leave the fold, with some 29% who eventually come back for reasons of family ties, most never "reaching out.

  This information is so true. About half of the children in my former congregation left, never to return when they became adults. I suppose that would include me now. What does not surprise me now, but it did when I was going there is, elder's children are mostly the ones doing the leaving. Perhaps they see the hypocracy more than I did. I wish I could back up this statement with some facts.

  I have that backwards, 175 kilograms. I have played rugby, and it is fun. However, Football is much harder on one's body.

  Rugby in Kansas is called Smear the Queer. Sorry to say.

  If we did not wear that armour, we would kill each other. Try getting hit by a 350lb. man running hard and see how you feel. I think that would be about 700kgs.

  Problem with culpability?

  personnally, i had this big problem of culpability when my parents decided to stop to go at the meeting.

  when i was going to high school, i wasn't a jw anymore but i didn't want to participate to the party and other stuffs like that because the watchtower told me that it was wrong.

  after six years out of the org, i'm just starting to feel free and i realized that we can look at the personnality of someone to see if it's a good friend instead of just try to see if he obey to what the wbts told us.

  I can't add to what Gopher said. Like Gopher it is hard to meet new people. I can suggest regestering for various internet clubs and interest groups. I once put an ad in Yahoo looking for friends. You also sound like me, early twenties. I must admit it is lonely getting started in real life, but it is worth the effort. My email is included by my handle, you are always welcome to write me.   the week from hell...I need input please!

  i just found out my best friend died this morning.

  i'm not looking for sympathy, i just need some input.

  we were very close and worked together volunteering for the aids foundation here in my hometown.
