Who cares what number of species of beetle has to be produced each year?
The point is, it is improbable to the highest extreme that in 6000 years or however many years since the flood, that a set of beetles or a few sets of beetles made 350,000 different and distinct types of beetle. If anyone can make a case how this could happen, step forward and present your findings.

by Princess Daisy Boo infirst a bit of background (in case you are not familiar with my family history)... my mom is 68, my dad is 63. they run their own small business which involves my dad travelling all over the country and my mom running the office.
my dad is an insulin dependant diabetic and my mom suffers from chronic high blood pressure.
my only sibling is a sister who is 27 and lives in bethal.she is a housekeeper and her husband repairs the shoes there.. today i call my mom to say hi... the conversation goes something like this..... me: so when are you going back to work mom?.

Baptised, disfellowshipped all before reaching 18

this question just popped in my head while reading the thread about being disfellowshipped.. disfellowshipping is harsh, but to do this to a kid??

I knew a girl that was baptized, disfellowshipped in the same year before she was 18.
It was one of the saddest things I had ever seen. She was abandoned by her family and moved in with this JW family and started studying. She happened to be a classmate of this family's JW daughter. This girl became convinced being a JW was what she wanted and got baptized. Not long after baptism, she got pregnant, disfellowshipped, and the JW family kicked her out of their home. I never heard what happened to her, but that is about the saddest thing I'd ever heard of.
In a twist of events, the ordeal stuck in the craw of the young JW daughter because her Elder dad had been so cruel to her friend. About 2 years later she also left the JWs, I don't remember if she dissassociated or was disfellowshipped. I just know when I asked whatever happened to her, I was told by her uncle that, "We don't talk to her anymore." That would make the JW daughter 17 when she was baptized and out by the age of 20.
