Sure, but I have to go to bed now. Sorry, because I do want to talk about those exact topics. Maybe tomorrow evening when I have more time.

for those who have left the confines of regulated thinking, either voluntarily or by being thrown out...and who currently are lost....where to now?.
i took time to read a few books, do some research and recharge.
i received some very nice emails from total strangers who encouraged me with their loving concern, and to all those i say a heartfelt thank you.. yesterday, a long chat between isp and myself left me thinking..what do we believe anymore?

my mom's cousin sharon passed away at 1:30pm thursday september 6, 2001. she was a lovely person and was always more like a sister than a cousin.
mulan held her hand every step of the way through a battle with breast cancer and she was with her when she died.. mom's birthday is tomorrow.
now she will celebrate sharon's life along with her own every year at this time.. i wish there was some way to ease your pain mom.
I know this is a tough time for you and your family. Please know my thoughts are with you and your family.

dear all,.
it is with much regret that i have decided to leave jw.com.
it is not a decision i have made lightly, in fact i had been thinking about it for many weeks now.. i am leaving because i cannot be a part of a forum that condones abuse and deliberate offensiveness towards other posters.
I hope you come back soon. The more people like you we loose the more other posters who do name call etc. wins. I will write you from time to time.

a us columnist writes of encountering hundreds of people who, she says, "essentially live for the future, taking refuge in visions of a relaxed, rewarding personal and family life somewhere down the road".
she calls this "the tomorrow trap" - a kind of mirage that people chase while in reality they are burying themselves in work and other pursuits".

Ozziepost,
Is the term elder no longer used and replaced with untrained volunteer?

Time for family? Not with 5 meetings perweek, field service, etc.
One time my father was asked how he was so successful raising me and the elders were not with their own. His responce was I came first and the elders had no time to spend with their children.
If you are a Jehovah's Witness, and you are reading my post, please put your children first.

What a bunch of crap. I am so glad I am out of that mess. The story said something about the Kingdumb Hell having windows. Since when? The Kingdumb Hells around here don't have windows.

all prophets: here is your chance to go on the record and tell us all what you think this special, jw-only meeting in sept is going to be about.
then, after the fact, when we know what it was about, you will get all the glory due a true prophet.
all those who were wrong, well, you will taunted and laughed at by the other prophets.
I predict all present will be bored to tears and afterward they will all say how incouraged they are.

Thanks, I have not had the time to study Calvinism. Since my girlfriend is Buddhist, I need to look into it first. Little by little I am going to learn something about most mainstream religions.
