Worst U.S. President and Why?

so who in your opinion is the worst-ever u.s. president and why do you say so?

When it comes to Bush, we can all agree that he has done nothing to improve the Country. That should be the goal of every man who ever held the office of President, but many have not measured up.
So where does that leave Bush? Somewhere on the bottom end of mediocre. That Axis of Evil speech he gave early in the first term could have led to an even bigger war. If it had, then yes, he would be the worst president EVER! Imagine fighting a war in Iraq, Iran, Israel, Afghanistan, Turkey, and North/South Korea. It could have happened.

Thanks for that bit of info. Now I must see if my mother-in-law still has that old VCR.
Of course the tapes I'm trying to copy are for me and my family. I look at it this way, I paid for them damn tapes, so I own the right to view the content however long and as many times as I wish. But it is getting to the point that the tapes are wearing out and the media has changed to DVD. Manufacturers like Disney should not count on me to buy something again that I already paid for once. So I wish to take my already purchased copy and continue to use it.
By the way, in the past 2 days I've eliminated 26 tapes!

Circuit Assembly This Weekend

well, i went this weekend and there were a few key points that i thought were pretty interesting.

one thing is that we are not to use the word 'society' any longer.

i don't know if anybody else has heard of this before but i wondered what the reason was behind it.

The last talk went over everything. The District Overseer got really angry and asked why they were having these talks every year and smacked his hand on the platform and said "BROTHERS!!! YOU ARE NOT LISTENING, MANY OF YOU ARE REBELIOUS!"

10. Visit 10 museums
Now that sounds like fun! I have a similar goal. The wife and I have not been to the Eisenhower Presidential Library and there is a the Wichita Museum of World Treasures. We need to make that happen this year.

VoidEater,
I am using an RCA VCR/DVDR to record my tapes into DVD+R format. All of my Disney tapes, for example, (for my girl) won't record due to copy protection. I also have some other recorder I tried hooking up to my Sony VCR, but it also gave me some message about not being able to record. Is it at least possible to record tape to another tape? Quality isn't a big issue, since many of these tapes are old and already have quality problems.
Is it worth a shot?
(I don't have a clue how to hook up a VCR to my PC.)

Now that's a couple of great goals!
Must add... buy a new CoC book. Every time I buy one, I give it to somebody else.

Now this one story works. Once the fire consumes all the fuel, all that is left is swept away. Watchtower wants people to burn hot and bright and use all their lives serving them. Good story!
Heard this story several years ago, maybe during a talk, or the Service Meeting.

Reading between the lines in the January 2008 "Our Kingdom Ministry"

i like to read the km to see what the wtbts is saying, and then to think about what they really mean.. information appears in the km when problem need to be addressed in the organization.

the article on.

the front page "make the most of your time in the ministry" was insightful to me.

Going to any Garage or Yard Sale along the way. Talk about a perfect way to waste time. Heck, a certain former pioneer sister would spend up to 30 minutes looking at each item of clothing. After all, she was on a tight budget in order to pioneer, so nobody ever said anything about it. But all that time would count, as she would leave a tract. Of course we all counted the time too as we watched her pick through the stuff.
