remember hearing that at the meetings?
i find it ironic that the same can be said for ex-jw's.
wish they'd say that at the meetings!.
One could indeed parachute into almost any country and received food and shelter from virtual strangers.
That is because they don't have to worry about you having differeing opinions or beliefs. (remember, no harboring priviate thoughts)
I understand not wanting conflicts, so I still have a hard time making friends and finding common ground, but how boring the conversations are in most "gatherings" among "the friends", all they talked about was how good the last watchtower article was because you are not allow to disagree or to really discuss it.

That really does sound like me in school, and after school. I'm trying to fix that now.
.
hiya and... i do not really know where to begin... currently a jw... slightly starting to fade... got a girlfriend baptised... i am baptised also... my head is a mess... i do not know what to believe anymore... never really fully trusted elders as it comes to 'leading the flock'... got burned a few times with their ... decisions etc.
read a few articles in here about their alleged false beliefs... do not really know what to do... wondered if any of you felt like that at any point... when something that you trusted and followed most of your life... does not seem to be what you thought it was... .
You don't sound dramatic to me. Most everyone here has had the same thoughts at some point. It really is a big deal, that is why I agree with the advise of "leavingwt" above.
Information is your friend, both about our experiences here and about what you may learn about Jehovah's Witnesses.
interesting article.... http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/oct/26/tsas-power-grope/.
the transportation security administration (tsa) has always intended to expand beyond the confines of airport terminals.
its agents have been conducting more and more surprise groping sessions for women, children and the elderly in locations that have nothing to do with aviation.
Sounds like they are getting bored patting down old ladies and kids and not finding anything.
I've heard of this before, I believe it, but haven't heard it first hand. Seeing as how the org often mentions it in the KM before the convention, it wouldn't suprise me.
awhile back i asked my wife what was the most "religious" experience of her life.
for her, it was one time we sent to see the ny philharmonic.
the program was particularly moving, and we both agreed that the feeling was borderline "orgasmic.
I think that this is much like the reason many of us talk to our self when nervous, it calms us down and makes us feel better.
post your vids or jokes or photos just for fun.
since it's supposed to be the end of the world today, i might as well post this one for fun.. asl can be so expressive.
language warning, turn the volume off if you don't want the kids to hear it:.

we're not insensitive to what you're now going through.
many of us have been in your position.
This is a nice list, thanks for posting. I feel like I am one of the lucky 20%. I still have to stay undercover for my wife's sake, but at lest I know that my son is safe. In the mean time I feel mentally free, and I hope that doesn't change.
If you haven't read jwfacts.org yet, please go there first. It is the best resource available.
