How many people do you *truly* hate?
by Nosferatu ini can honestly say that there aren't many that i truly hate.
however, there is a small list.
it used to contain only two people, but a third is making it's way on that list.

My list is very long. But every year I'm away it gets a little shorter. If I really get thinking about some of them I get pretty pissed. So I'm just better off letting it go.

I just had a talk with my JW parents. I decided to focus on the only thing I know to be true, that Jesus sacrificed his life for me. I don't know what I believe on the issues of Hell, Armageddon,or the new system. I don't know alot, but the one piece I do know is greater they any double talk they can come up with.
That was three weeks ago.....haven't heard from them since

Juicy JW Stories too big to hush up!
by target inwhen their actions spill outside of the congregation and get in the newspapers, there is no hushing it up.
the stories i am about to tell are factual, but the names have been changed to protect the guilty.. many years ago in a small neighboring town, there was a small mexican restaurant that was owned by a non jw who employed jw relatives and nonrelatives.
it was a popular place.

So many stories to tell.
There was the cheating Elder, ran around on this witch of a wife. She was a mean lady.
We had a pioneer brother who lived with my best friends family.(The Dad was an Elder ,Mom was a reg. Pioneer, my best friend was only 15) It was revealed that this cute pioneer brother was sneaking in her room at night. So they kicked him out. A few days later it came out that he was playing around with another young sister. So to after his J.C he killed himself. Nobody was allowed to talk about it.
My best friend was getting married, I was the maid of honor. One problem...I was pregnant! My Elder Dad was not to happy. So I was kicked out of the wedding and she had to beg the Elders to allow me to attend. After all she was marrying an Elder. They agreed. It was nice...didn't last long though. She ran off with a co-worker (nonJW) after 7 years. She got D'F. But we don't speak anymore...I'm bad association.

Doodle-v,
I am so sorry for your loss. I also lost a brother in 1986. It was devastating. I'm sorry that we share that kind of pain. Something good did come out of that nightmare. It was the same day I realized that I was living a lie. I'm glad you have a loving husband to stand by you and support you. Hang in there.

favourite games to play as a child during boring meetings
by Surfacing inmy parents were both very strict, and i wasn't allowed any toys at the hall.
my rations included a copy of my book of bible stories, and a pen and note pad.
my parents were strict to the point of not allowing me to draw pictures, i had to "take notes".

My Dad was the Watchtower conductor and a book study conductor. He would ask me what paragraph I would like to comment on so he could call on me.(No less than 3!)
Plus if someone didn't raise their hand with an answer he would just call on ME! So I had no time for games.
I had to stay sharp!

DaCheech-
Thank you for your loving words. I am healthy and so is my son. That was 11 years ago. It took me awhile to see I didn't desirve to be treated that way, regardless of my "sins". I stopped trying to please my Dad about 3 years ago. I am his only child there should be no strings attached. I stopped apologizing for have my son the day he was born. And if people can't see what a blessing he is in my life I don't need them in mine.

I was a JW for 30 years. Both parents are JW's. Dad's a PO at their cong. I was 23 when I sat before my first and only JC. I was pregnant. It was the most hateful process I have ever been through. I feel ill just thinking about now. I was not D'Fed. My fathers status had alot to do with it I'm sure. Even though when he found out I was going to be PR he called the brother in charge and told them to D'F me (and my hubby)! Thanks Dad for the support! Later in my pregnancy I became very sick and almost died. My mother sat at the bed and told me my son would probably die because Jehovah looked at him as a sin. A brother on my JC came to visit me and the first thing he asked was if I had taken blood. I said no ,he was very pleased. I was so close to death and he was releaved that he could send back good news to the brothers. Anyways, I lived through it and thank God so did my son. My point is this to SOJ, confess your sins to the brothers in your hall.Your sins being your "mixing in company" with known apostates. And watch the Loving process from the otherside of the room. Make sure you tell them everything..and hope that they are "allowing the HS to guide them".

I BATTLE WITH THE THOUGHT THAT JW'S ARE RIGHT.I WAS RAISED A JW.AND JUST LEFT IN MARCH 2001.I CELEBRATED MY "FIRST" BIRTHDAY AT AGE 32.ALL DAY I WAS AFRAID THAT JEHOVAH WAS GOING TO KILL ME FOR IT.I WAS SO SCARED.I JUST KEPT REMINDING MYSELF THAT GOD HAS BETTER THINGS TO DO WITH HIS TIME THEN PLOT MY DEATH.
