  this is a melancholy day for me.

  over the past few years i have been studying american politics and have enjoyed learning perspectives from different ideologies.

  i personally lean towards conservative values when it comes to creating legislature, however i am socially liberal.

  White House receives secession pleas from all 50 states

  WASHINGTON -- What began as a small group of citizens voicing their disappointment with President Obama's victory in last week's presidential election has turned into a plea from hundreds of thousands of citizens to have their states be granted independence from the federal government.
  
  The White House has now received secession petitions from all 50 states by citizens requesting that the administration “peacefully grant” them the opportunity to form their own sovereign government.

  The petitions are created through the Obama administration’s "We The People" initiative, which was launched in 2011 as an effort to give citizens an opportunity to have their voices heard by the administration.............

  billy graham and his son franklin graham on thursday at the elder graham's mountaintop retreat, a reference to mormonism as a cult was scrubbed from the website of the billy graham evangelistic association.. in a section of the website called billy graham's my answer there had been the question "what is a cult?".

  Franklin Graham in an interview I saw yesterday said his father was a lifelong Democrat. Interesting that the dems should hold their convention in Charlotte that overwhelmingly attempted to remove any references to God and Israel from their platform and then have the Mormons removed from the cult list in an effort to defeat a homosexual Muslim who is shredding the Constitution he is sworn to defend.

  This is the same bullshit we hear all the time about 9/11 like it was the worst most tragic evil event in history. 3000+ people die everyday in Africa, and they dont cry as often. I'm sure they suffer and feel the pain in Africa or the Caribbean just as anywhere else in the world. Obviously the BBC and other foriegn networks must give far greater coverage to it that AP & UPI. Most of the ads I see about the suffering in Africa or South America are paid advertizing seeking my contribution to give assistance. Sad thing is, most Americans take it all for granted. Bunch of fatass, limp wrist whimps. We no longer have what it would take to win WWII if it happened today. That generation is gone. Yes and that generation has been replaced by 150 million Latinos, Mexicans, Yuppies and Blacks who choose the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al (Greaseball) Sharpton as leaders who elect a half breed homosexual Muslim POTUS and a challenger, a high Bishop in his religion that's like having a NY Cardinal running for office and that appeals to Billy Graham to remove from his cult list. It's like Saturday night wrestling. And on top of that, the weather forecasters are now able to predict with pinpoint accuracy that a superstorm was going to make an unprecedented 90 degree turn on the major population center of the nation to be followed up a week later with another storm to add insult to injury. CAN YOU SAY HAARP? AND OBAMA NEEDED AN EVENT TO INCREASE HIS CHANCE FOR RE-ELECTION AND GET EVERYBODY'S MIND OFF BENGHAZI?

  i've seen several posts on various threads about a particular "loyalty question" or two that elders ask during judicial hearings.

  granted it's been several years since i was an elder, but i never heard of this practice.

  is there anything officially in print on this from the wt?

  oh beleive me, it realy gets to the heads of some. My ex business partner upon his appointment, suddenly became one of God's annointed. He would quextion people in the workplace and if he didn't get the response he wanted, would remark how he is an elder, and that slanderous speech is talking against Gods arrangement, blah blah vomit. Some of them really do think that God is working through them, especially at a Judicial hearing

  That's their mentality all right. I can't help thinking about the response to my letter to a group that I DA'd from recently where I only listed one of my objections to their agenda and actually thanked them. It was a whole laudry list of false accusations. They just can't stand being told they're wrong.

  it seems to me that some new light needs to be generated if the governing body (gb) of jws is to be considered as the faithful and discreet slave (fds).. .

  (a) gb needs to be around as an entity when selected by jesus during his parousia.

  People wouldn't be so confused if they paid attention to history - Israel being re-established - as foretold by Russell. And Scripture.

  Dubs talk out of both sides of their mouths, saying that Israel is just another nation while at the same time claiming that Messiah's words apply to them.
