by garyneal ini'm just catching up on the latest buzz here and it appears that there is a lot of buzz on the 'new light' coming from the watchtower concerning the governing body and the faithful and discreet slave.
if true, i can really use this to trick my wife and in-laws (who are coming in this weekend) to contradict the new light.. at first i was going to say that this can answer moshe's question regarding who really is the fds but i understand that the change simply means when the body meets on doctrinal matters is when they are collectively the fds.
is that correct?.

Since everybody in the first century was anointed with Holy Spirit and "had no need of being taught" according to the Messiah, it was quite obvious there was no group providing spiritual food spread all over creation, and therefore the Messiah's querry must be seen as proof that it refered to all indiviuals, perchance elders in local congregations or those who would become elders, and was rhetorical as to who were true servants(slaves). In the mean time the jw cancer that profains the Sabbath and DIVINE NAMES courtesy of the RCC keeps growing.

Do any here have adult children living with them?
by Was New Boy inmy 34 year old daughter may be moving in with me for awile when i move to arizona.
we get along great but we haven't lived together in 14 years.
in these tough money times we feel two could live cheaper than one......i'm looking forward to the move.. three years ago i had my 28 year old son move back in with me for six months.

Does the wtbt$$$ ever come out and define apostate and apostate literature instead of suggesting that this or that might be apostate and grounds for the ax? I notice in bangalore's above post that they say:
7 Now, what will you do if you are confronted with apostate teaching-subtle reasonings-claiming that what you believe as one of Jehovah's Witnesses is not the truth?
I was always under the impression that an apostate was one who was an ex-dub, but it seems that according to this, anyone opposed and producing literature is an apostate.
I guess that makes sense since jw's are the only true religion, besides Catholics and Muslims, because all others deflected from da troof, and are therefore opposed, and thus apostate.

by bats in the belfry inand also consulted with responsible mormon church leaders.
i was told that the answers to my questions involved mysteries that one day would be solved as the light became brighter.
