Separated for over a month...
by cognac init hasn't been easy at all... trying to care for two kids- ages 3 & 6, while working fulltime, barely any support from immediate family, my ex has only seen the kids twice for a few hours, ughhhh.... i make way to much money to qualify for any sort of help, ex barely makes anything so that's out.... this is a million times harder than i could have even imagined... but, we are managing somehow; abeit, a little creatively at times.... i had just started thinking to myself, "we can do this!
" then, my house got robbed, about 10k worth of stuff stolen... ughhhh..... this is so depressing....

Or is it cos you have just seperated so its difficult to see each other just now? Early stages are so hard... you just feel like giving in, come home!l Hey I would get honest and say you are having a hard time and get him to take the kids for the weekend at least. Genetic science= evidence for many types of hominids, denisovian & neanderthal dna in modern sapien populations, switched off genes for all sorts of atavistic traits like human full body hair &tails and whale legs etc, we can also work out the no of generations back until our common ancestor with chimps etc

Terry I really, really enjoyed that! Best short story I've read in ages. Have you read ' The Children Act' by Ian McEwan (an old buddy of the real Hitch). In case not, it centres on the relationship between a dying JW teenager requiring a blood transfusion and the high court judge scheduled to decide his case. Be a good thred no? -

Grieving for the Living
by StinkyPantz2.0 ini originally wrote this blog a few years ago, but yesterday a friend that is struggling to decide whether or not she will tell her family that she no longer accepts the jehovahs witness religious doctrine reminded me of it so i am re-sharing (with updates).. its not always completely freeing to come out of the closet (as an atheist in my case) and i wanted her to understand that.. i had a very strange realization recently: i dont know what its like to be someones adult child.
my parents didnt get the privilege of seeing me come of age.
i didnt get walked down the aisle when i got married.

Sometimes I think the grief is MORE intense in your situation, its so hard to get closure and the frustration and anger that fades with normal bereavement can raise its ugly head anytime - my heart goes out to you. You are a courageous and principled woman, a humanitarian soul.
