actually, no. if he had simply left his wife and never fornicated, and divorced her on incompatability grounds, he would not get disfellowshipped. if he and the girl abstain from sex until they are married, then all is well too.
But that is not a “scriptural divorce”. And therefore the new marriage is also not “scriptural”. In fact, not only would they not be free to marry in the Kingdom Hall, but by getting “married” to the new girl elsewhere, your brother would be committing adultery, since he was not “scriptural divorced” in the first place.
confused.........? You will be!!

Adultery, Divorce, Remarry
by azl0058 inmy brother (who is a witness) has been married for 8 years.
he and his wife (also a witness) got married young, but he never really tried in the marriage, but she also lost his trust early on.
he says that it was his fault though because he pushed her away.. anyways, he met this new girl (not a witness) and told his wife that he wanted to separate.

Dumb Elders
by minimus ini knew a few pretty intelligent elders .
sometimes i would wonder why they remained as elders or even witnesses because they were successful men who made a good living and were highly respected because of their qualities.. that is a rather small group.
most elders that i know of aren’t the brightest bulbs in the sky.

Minimus ejaculated, "That same elder I knew also was the one that wanted to disfellowship a dead man."
Maybe the dead man had recently been baptized as a Mormon and deserved to be disfellowshipped for not objecting to the baptism.
Sorry, 🤣but I just found Nathan’s hilarious comment🤣😂😂😂😂

So What Religion do You Claim to be when Entering Hospital?
by mikronboy ini've had a few medical procedures.
once, i had a massive loss of blood and needed 6 units of blood to replace the loss.
however, i'm curious as to what ex's state to be their religion when filling out the required paperwork when being admitted into a hospital.

Medical staff will tell you that your religion is confidential and they will not discuss it with others.
Dont believe them.
Gossip is part of human nature...we evolved to gossip because we are pro social animals. I’d say maybe 3 out of every 10 medics can truly be trusted with confidential info and remain fully professional. When it comes to JW staff make that zero.

Has anyone contested a Will and WON????
by cha ching inmy jw mom just died last week, about 6 1/2 months after my non jw dad died (dehydration, starvation, imo) i was the executor of that will.
before a month had passed of his death, my dad & mom's will was changed.
i didn't know until she died.

Your sister, if executor, has full rights to handle the estate within the parameters that wills in your state provide. My suggestion is to work with her unless she does something that represents a breach of her mandate as executor.
BTW, if you are named as a beneficiary in the will, the executor is required to provide you with a copy thereof.
Just out of interest, what can I do if an executor doesn’t provide me with this? My grandmother left me one quarter of her wealth. It wasn’t much in the end as she had to go into a home...but it was quite a few thousand. My mum cheated me out of it as my step dad was executor and my mother scape goats me. She shuns me but hated me since I as a little girl. Very narcissistic. What can I do as it’s been a few years....she lied to me about the will but I subsequently found a copy of it. Thanks in advance if anyone knows.
Cha Ching...so sorry, another example of the abiding Christian behavior of JWs :((

Nurses are unwilling to take the COVID-19 Vaccine
by adjusted knowledge ini work at two separate hospitals and most of the rns i work with have stated they won't take the vaccine.
i've read a report that 1/3 of rns will refuse the vaccine.
for those in other countries do you see this being an issue or is it more an american phenomenon?.

Misinformation:
because vit C is fat soluble [Vitimin c is water soluble not fat soluble. Look it up]
Sorry that was a typo simonses I meant vit D is fat soluble. However because the piece was about vitamin D you could make a good guess that's what I meant.

Anybody Here That Still Wouldn’t Take or Give Blood?
by minimus ini would think that the first thing to go for ex jws is the blood ban.
.
would you take a transfusion or give blood now!.

I've actually just volunteered to donate my blood to very sick COViD patients* as I'm positive currently and going through it (not too bad so far, my husband's been pretty ill though).
Funny thing another thing they asked for is volunteers to help dogs detect COViD....they have to sniff me undies!! You wear some vest for 24 hours or something then post it back to them😄

The government is now sending out 400 IU daily doses, which is totally useless. There is no evidence that this is nearly enough to rectify vitamin D deficiency or protect against viral infection. They might as well not have bothered.
Good grief how pointless! Although the amounts each person requires varies and you need to check with your GP, in the UK through the winter the elderly, housebound and (because vit C is fat soluble) the obese will require far higher particularly initially!! I’ve been taking 10,000 iu and Fouchi takes 8000 per day. 400 is useless!
well I won’t be taking it
Well I certainly would have....except my kids caught it AT SCHOOL last week and now my husband and I just tested positive🙄 ( Teens are going down like flies at school which is certainly a major driver of the virus if u ask me)
As far as I know only 2 health care workers (with pre existing allergy conditions) had a reaction to the Pfizer vaccine.
