What a strange way to frame not filming the environmentalists. Saying he couldn't cover them "fairly and honestly" seems to imply that he was catching them in lies. Perhaps he means they were making plans that couldn't be filmed but again why say the activists wouldn't allow you to cover it honestly?
It says "I can't make it enough of a one sided, suitably left-leaning virtue-signal fest to ensure total social media approval & maximum traction. It's no wonder he's given to following the herd. He's gone from one self congratulatory echo chamber to another - golden child of both. It's one of the reasons he is so unable to deal with criticism - JWs are at once averse to anyone not agreeing with their group, yet hyper critical of each other, too.

Yup. Exactly. Everything interesting other people bought to the table. It was only his pompous, self important self belief that led we guileless JWs to believe in and support him too - thus making him look far more capable than he actually is. (Also helps that he's male, imposingly tall and calls himself an elder, despite spending only months in the office).

Kim explains why this isn't the case in her Andrew gold interview, I believe. Lloyd was never her client, you have to agree to a contract for that. Kim merely gave her opinion about some cases Watchtower were involved in - never Lloyd, anyway. He merely used her as he does everyone, because Lloyd knows nothing about anything but being a JW.

TD That's very interesting. So, far from it not being usual - or acceptable - in the US, it's actually less usual nowadays, than it was previously. Yet you can't look any where today without seeing a beard so it's utterly absurd for watchtower to say beards are not ok.
In the past I knew people in the UK who had them. Usually JW men who were the nicest guys because they were not ambitious. They tended to more than pull their weight, but without having the 'title'.
