MAL(content) has been through hell.

I remember Lloyd having a rant about being far too busy to answer personal messages and how he's not there to help exjws with free therapy!! etc. This was very early on in his You Tube career, too. He said he doesn't answer personal emails (unless funnily enough he can make content out of you. Seems to read those ok).

Eventually dear Cherie from this site stepped up to the plate as a volunteer on JWsurvey to work as jwsurvey's support worker (at first, later taking on more roles). As if working full time with dying cancer patients wasn't emotionally draining enough. But no, apparently at the time making a you tube video every week or so is so demanding Lloyd required a full time Hospice manager to come and do it for him free of charge, bolstering the importance of his ridiculous survey (which JWs never took just a few thousand exjws). The written submissions on CSA of mark O'Donnell and others and Cherie's devotion is what swelled the value of that site 100%.

Yes I know a retired pub landlady of 30 years plus, who raised her kids whilst running one. She works for a hospitality charity and gets invited to careers fairs,too. She said if your not prepared for it to be a way of life, rather than a job, don't do it.

What was the media interview that Evans sabotaged?

It was an interview a BBC journalist was going to do with Marc Latham. Out of pure jealousy Lloyd got someone to contact the journo and put a spanner in the works. The interview was subsequently cancelled (the person who did this at Lloyds behest has subsequently apologised to be fair).

The reason the twitter account @theculticexperience said that the CSA interview Lloyd sabotaged would "blow up" is because this was the before Iicsa and before the ARC (although after Barb Anderson's "Dateline"). This twitter fool Rafa Chevez is wrong claiming governments of the world are aware anyway, because at the time they were far from aware. In fact Lou Goode, Marc Latham & others were responsible for getting iccsa to investigate Watchtower in the first place.

Never thought I would see this in my family circle

so, my 17 year old niece reveals to me that for the past few years, her father (my sister's husband) has been physically and verbally abusive to her.enough so that it finally came to a breaking point, and she reported it to the police.

she told me that she had wished she had told me sooner, but she was trying to wait til she was 18 so that she could leave.i knew that she and her parents had been locking horns for the past couple of years, but i chalked it up to teen puberty and general growing pains.

but on their last, most recent visit, i could tell that something was really eating at her.apparently, what set off this latest incident was that he discovered that she had been seeing/involved with a non-witness boy about her age, and got so violent with her that it left marks.ironically, she went and got help from her boyfriend's father, a paramedic, who documented the injuries and encouraged her to report it.so, yeah, he spent a night in jail.she is now staying at the parents of her boyfriend, while still trying to have some aspects of her old life (work, school, etc.

Yes, well done for being there for your niece. Regarding your sister, I thought bearing false witness against someone was a serious sin in the Bible, you may want to gently raise that point with her? I don't envy you, that's for sure! Sounds like you're doing the best you can in a rotten situation all round. Watchtower encourages this sort of behaviour toward children - and the courts - so JWs will increasingly find themselves on the wrong side of the law.

😂🙌exactly. Or as Simon said aka just 3 DMCA takedown notices which may have gotten him a two week ban if they had stood - like Rick Fearon just had*. No Biggie. He uses it as video material to drum up ca$h.

Watchtower only go after people at the local level if they can leverage family against you/to shun you, which is no longer an issue for Lloyd, and possibly higher up only in the case of finding leeks. Which is understandable and any business/organisation would do.

Lloyd is just your average, narcissistic, pervy, misogynistic grifter🤷‍♀️ & as I said (with the exception of DF them) if they didn't try to shut down Ray Franz, Jim Penton, Olaf Johansson, Barb Anderson, Randy Watters, Eric Wilson and many apostates who were elders & bethelites of 30 years plus, they're hardly going to bother with Lloyd.

*Actually I think KimMikey may have had to begin a new you tube channel, but that's the only instance I can think of.

That's why I would take that video down if I was KM Marie. Either Kim Silvio must also work for watchtower (or Lloyd), or her cousin doesn't exist.

Lloyd Evans has never been the main apostate....there's so many others far better known and who've done the initial important work. Lloyd has just read their work on You tube for god's sake.

Now if they could have somehow destroyed Ray Franz's credibility that would have been worthwhile!!

All a you tuber does is reach tons more kids with low concentration spans....since kids are their only converts it would shoot Watchtower right in the foot!

What a strange way to frame not filming the environmentalists. Saying he couldn't cover them "fairly and honestly" seems to imply that he was catching them in lies. Perhaps he means they were making plans that couldn't be filmed but again why say the activists wouldn't allow you to cover it honestly?

It's no wonder he's given to following the herd. He's gone from one self congratulatory echo chamber to another - golden child of both. It's one of the reasons he is so unable to deal with criticism - JWs are at once averse to anyone not agreeing with their group, yet hyper critical of each other, too.
