Claim and Counter-claim

claim: sincec2017 jehovah's witnesses have sold 2 billion dollars worth of kingdom halls in the united states alone, yet on a recent broadcast they said they needed so many kingdom halls to be built.

counter-claim: jehovah’s witnesses sold their world headquarters in nyc and built a new one in a different location.

even if your claim is accurate that would skew the accuracy of your numbers.

I think this would be a better stat if we could take the money earned from the sale of the Brooklyn properties out of the equation. Then we'd get a clearer idea of exactly how much money they're making out of sales of Kingdom Halls.

Because let's be clear about this - sale of Kingdom Halls is rank theft. Members donate hard earned cash to pay for then actually build their congregation's own Kingdom Halls .

Yet incredibly Watchtower then comes along and steals them right from underneath their noses. Selling them with 100% profit, since they contributed zero towards their cost.

the have a syndicate (governing body) regional bosses (district overseers), captians (circuit overseers), and elders are their "made men" that enforce policy at street level.

if you run your mouth too much, they wipe out your whole family (disfellowshipping).

Blues I find those biographies the most tragic. Lack of money, careers, even an education can be accepted if you've been blessed and happy in your family life. If you've had a happy marriage and healthy, happy kids....good friendships, too,....all that other stuff can be; if not forgiven, at least overlooked. But to deny yourself marriage and family for that avaricious, cold-hearted, conceited, obdurate (I could go on) unChristian organisation to do nothing but take from the good natured, is the worse crime they commit imo.

) regarding blood and organ transplants since a recent royal member on the wts board found reason to ok one for himself!

i mean this shit is so far removed from my life now, but hearing something so outrageous, that once cost people close to me their lives, is too unsettling to not want to know..

Blues....firstly it is for survivors. Secondly do you really believe Watchtower would have used it "solely" for Holocaust remembrance? Or rather as a Watchtower recruitment tactic by way of mentioning the Holocaust?

They're also plenty wealthy enough to do honour to the memories of Holocaust victims. One way would be to come out and publicly condemn Rutherford's "Statement of Facts" letter to Hitler.

Organ transplants have been ok since the 80s and blood fractions are now acceptable, again for some time. How long have you been out/away for?

Other than that I don't know if there's been some new change? I do know the slimey slitherer's have deemed it a "conscience matter"(by which they mean: you take blood and you automatically disassociate yourself, to avoid legal backlash for Watchtower). Unless of course you live in Bulgaria, in which case when it comes to JW's taking blood....knock yourselves out!!

that is about *200 generations of breeding to get to the population on earth now.

Anony mous So you needed to produce a lot of babies just to replace yourself and then the women had a 15-25% chance at death every birth which would stop further reproduction.

Was going to say, that definitely would be a massive factor. I certainly wouldn't have made it past 22, nor my first child. Unless I'd had a very skilled midwife, given I had a breach and would have hemorrhaged had someone not manually delivered my placenta. Therefore neither would the twins who came next been born☠️
