He felt he was untouchable and that his cult of personality was powerful enough to shout down any possible dissenters and leakers.

I think he was so angry with Dijana for daring to back out of his "ethical" whore mongering, that he planned to have his minions teach her a lesson....starting with Kim & Producer Bob.

Then if that wasn't enough, he would summon his ~~Demons~~ patrons to let her know in no uncertain terms she was in the wrong! (you could see it in his eyes during that "I need a break" video: Cold. Narcissistic. Petulant. Fury.)

What he has now is sufficient to live on semi-comfortably but it comes nowhere close to his ultimate dream which is retirement and full pension on the exJW dime.

Yup. He's still after that holiday home. That letter clearly intimates that Dijana enjoys their comfortable lifestyle and needs to be grateful to him for getting to spend all that exjw ca$h.

it was leaked that a first draft of a letter she was going to write had the claim that jews can't experience racism.. the influence of crt is obvious.

according to this warped worldview, there are two types of people, oppressors and oppressed.

Phizzy The point she was making is that if your a traveller/gypsy or Irish your skin colour means racism is not automatic. It’s about interaction.

Whereas if you are black it’s there every second of every day from people not even within speaking distance

Whilst I understand the point she's making, there's a degree of naivete.

I think this is an example of black politicians thinking they know everything - and can say everything - about race. She's from the city because where I'm from I would say most people can spot a traveller at 50 yards off.

Another point. My grandmother wouldn't have dreamed of saying something derogatory about someone black because of their skin colour.

But as to gypsies/ travellers? She would sing the song "My grandmother said I never should, play with the gypsies in the wood". They called them gyp-o's. There's an incredible amount of racism around travellers and most people in Europe can tell immediately if someone is one (unless they are Roma since they are mostly settled).

when covid stated, i was diagnosed with colon cancer.

I'm currently taking part in a study aiming to detect colon cancer early in people under 55. Cancers deep inside the body can be hard to detect and symptoms can be very vague and easily batted off by your GP. That's if you get them at all, as in your case Lady Lee. So I think they're hoping to establish a regular testing regime whether you're symptomatic or not.

Jews still experience more racially motivated crimes, statistically, than any other group. These are genuine crimes....not 'thought' crimes. Abbott's another Whoopy Goldberg...a genuinely racist person currently making a living out of race.

My favourite female protagonists: Ellen Ripley

and my next favourite female protagonist is ellen ripley, played by sigourney weaver.. ripley only just survived in ridley scott's alien (1979).. the sequel, james cameron's aliens (1986), was mostly about ripley overcoming her trauma from the first film.. she also ends up seriously kicking ass.. ripley is probably my favourite protagonist of all time.. the following clip is lovely.

for newbies, who was carl olof jonsson?

he was a jw in sweden who was challenged by a householder in the 1960s, who pointed out to him that secular history books don’t agree with watchtower that jerusalem was destroyed in 607 bce, but instead place the event 20 years later.

the reason the date is important is because it is the starting date for jw chronology which leads to 1914 as the end of the gentile times, and the beginning of the last days, as jws understand it.

The honest thing to do would have been to move 1914 forward one year to 1915 (is that right?) but that would have spoiled the coincidence of World War One beginning on their favoured date. Does scholar have an answer for that one?

Slim I thought they did do that originally? Was it Russell? Someone had the date as 1915...then it was moved to 1914 because of the war?

If they moved the date to 607 I'm sure they know it's utter rubbish. If they initially believed Jerusalem fell in 606, well...it fell in 606. The logical thing to do when you find out about the zero is to move the prophetic year to 1915. Surely that's the more flexible date?!
