I read somewhere by the 4th century Christians were 10% of the Roman Empire. That's 6 million people. Watchtower numbers are waaay off.

How do JWs know that less than 150,000 Christians existed before the 20th Century?
by Vanderhoven7 inaccording to watchtower, only anointed christians existed between the first and 20th centuries.
the great crowd of other sheep only began forming after the 20th century started.. how do they support this conclusion?

Accepting blood transfusions. By which instrument it ceased to be a disfellowshipping offense to become cause for disassociation?
by EdenOne inok, i know the story of how it went, with the deal they reached with the bulgarian government, etc.
i know.. what i need to know is if there is an internal document that redefines willingly taking blood as a disfellowshipping offense into a cause for disassociation.
a letter from the branch?

Has the AJWRB contacted the ECHR and/or the Bulgarian government about Watchtowers deception over disassociating those taking blood?
It actually puts witnesses in a worse spot since they cannot even appeal being Disassociated.

Donations have tanked since, so what about this job Lloyd said he was offered? Taking them up on it?
If that job offer existed - and I mean if because you cannot take anything Lloyd says as gospel - it's either from a bar manager of one of the bars he performs at, working as bar staff . Or it's from a wealthy Patreon/donor. Either one is unlikely to work out. He'd last 5 minutes in a bar keep job which requires good time keeping, hard work and most of all an even and polite temper! The second option is equally likely to flop because when someone's own business relies on all Lloyd's good qualities to succeed ....it won't 😉

The Evolution of Judas Iscariot
by Leolaia inthe story of judas iscariot in the gospels provides the reader with a fascinating picture of how the plot and details of the narratives were gleaned from the ot and embellished in different ways.
the evangelists and the tradents that preceded them looked to the ot (and other affiliated literature) for information on what happened to jesus, employing a haggadaic method of biblical interpretation similar to how rabbis and authors of pseudepigraphs in the second temple era expanded the brief stories of the patriarchs in genesis with reams of new detail and legendary episodes -- through the means of exegesis aimed to penetrate beyond a plain reading of the text to "fill in the blanks" of what must have happened.
the authors of the gospels also scoured through the ot to discover what was supposed to happen to jesus and wrote their stories accordingly.

You are just a nut who likes to use big words
Leolaia? Definitely not! One of the most, if not the most scholarly person to ever post of this forum PS.

So they'll be selling the publishers data?? Or is it for spying? Both? A way to only allow those they deem elderly or infirm enough to access meetings by only allowing branch to give out links ?
All of the above?

Thanks for the Arian response.👍🏻
Sea Breeze There was a sadness to see him go, if only for the comfortable familiarity of the chains I grew up with.
😉 Who doesn't vibe with that feeling, as the kids say!
Jesus and I had traded places
Jesus became my sin (the scapegoat
Don't you ever feel guilty about that? I don't know it just seems so cruel...😬
32 And if he cannot [do so], when the other king is still a great way off, he sends an envoy and asks the terms of peace.
If we secretly try to add anything or anyone one else..... Jesus and your own self, the deal will not be accepted
🤔 Interesting. Watchtower never uses these scriptures this way. So simply.....

Separately, a woman in the nearby city of Tolyatti was given two years' forced labour for the same crime on Jan. 25, the same day as the four men were sentenced, according to the group's Russian website.
I think it would be more productive, instead of hard labour etc, to mandate some kind of de-programming course.
Ban cults on the basis of being high control groups that use undue influence, holding extremist views, and send them to therapists that deal with ex hostages etc!!
Oh....and massively tax the organization, banning them from taking donations from members, or otherwise profiting from them. Watchtower will soon pack it's bags.
