A Judicial experience.

when i was an elder in the 80s, a 16 year old baptized jw girl had confessed that at school during lunch a boy kissed her and touched her privates over her dress.

the circuit overseer was in town and we told him of the situation and he called the society and then told us that mother said we were not allowed to conduct the funeral in the kingdom hall or anywhere else with the threat of removing us and being dealt with judicially if we disobeyed.

the mother who is about 79 years old comes once a year to talk to my mom about the situation.

That lassy is the same age as me. I would like to know her first name, to honour her memory. Disfellowshiping minors is disgusting. I dont know about you guys but I was always taught that according to the bible you did not reach your majority until 20. They were also big on bragging about the fact they didn't baptise minors.

My son was operated on by an amazing cranio facial surgeon from Great Ormond Street, Mr Dunnaway,he retired this year. Hes been on TV as he goes all over the world with charitys and operates on kids who don't go outside because the village thinks they are demonized or cursed, because of they way they look.

This was one of the things that made me emotionally detatch from the org. I myself have refused blood when I haemorraged, but I could NOT allow my son to die, no matter what. Even though I knew in the UK they would make him a ward of court & so it would be ok for me to pretend but I could not be a hippocrite.

Those elders on the scene were disgusting, they knew what directions the org would give, trouble is there IS NO COME UPPANCE FOR THEM UNLESS WE MAKE IT SO

Baby steps taken with a grain of salt

seeing how my jw wife nearly lost it when i woke up to ttatt and was df'd just over a year ago, she has been showing cracks in her armor.. 1. she has stopped pioneering to resume her good-paying career, working full-time.. 2. she suggested marriage counseling.. 3. she suggested going to a latin rap concert at a casino for our anniversary.. 4. when we reconciled recently and began living together as a family again, she agreed to alternate weeks of jw activity with the kids, one week doing the jw thing with her and the next week not doing the jw thing with me .

5. she hasn't had perfect attendance at meetings or for field service since she started working full-time.

just last night, she skipped meeting to help co-workers prepare food for an employee appreciation luncheon held today.

MarvsterTalking of 1914, right now I'm watching one of JwFairytales' latest YT videos, Jehovah Bear and another character are in some future time talking with an elder who they tell that the 1914 prophecy is now actually 2014 for the beginning of Christ's reign; because the watchtower forgot to 'carry the 1' like they did when coming up with the fudged date of 607 but started with 606 and forgot about the year 0 not existing so carried the 1 to make it 607 (or something like that) so 1914 becomes 2014... I wonder if JwFairytales' prophecy will come true?

Not to mention the initial calculation being 1915, & when the doctrine further "clarified"tm (evidently)in the 20's suddenly lost a year & became 1914

proponents of evolution theory was comfortable with their easiest method of induction that says something like this: i saw a blind man in the us, then in russia, then in australian, then in africa ..., hence all men are blind.

yet proofs are abundant for the decline (opposite of evolution) we experience globally!.

1) most humans declined into greed, the result of which is climate change which has the potential to wipe out all life from the earth.

Just out of intetest, chimpanzees, who cannot swim, have been found in zoo moats, drowned, trying to save other chimps.

In tests, Macaque monkeys have starved themselves for days at a time when they noticed that in order to recieve food, other macaques would be given electric shocks.

Scientists believe these behaviours may be similar to behaviours of our early ancestors which have evolved into human altruism.

So thats tool using, lies and now empathy. How much else will we discover our ape cousins do too.

I can completely relate to much of that behaviour, when I see it on a small scale at my kids school it has devastating consequences.

Makes me wonder if the recent on air killer had been a victim of shunning. As a gay JW that's almost a given.
