Can't even bring himself to lie that there is increasing growth of the Borg. There very well may be increasing demand amongst Witnesses of their pdf's. They are virtually free.
andrew schofield, a spokesman for jehovah’s witnesses in britain, states: “for almost 60 years, our administrative operations for britain have been located in london.
however, larger facilities became necessary due to the increased demand for bible-related literature and materials.

even as a jw i was fascinated with hypnosis and seeing people like derren brown putting people under almost instantly.
in the last 2/3 years when i was a jw but beginning to wake up from the bullshit i read up on hypnosis, watched a few youtube demos and explanations etc.
but never actually studied it seriously until about a year ago.
It's odd the doctors mum left after two years over blood - presumably she knew WTs position when she got baptised. Did she just do more research into the issue, or did he not say?

Lois Lane When someone sends you a pm, and you open it, if you scroll further down you should see a 'send a reply' box to fill out.
Pale. Emperor Facinating post! I'm curious as to who the famous hypnotist was! I would love to know more. But in your opinion, and from any experiences you've heard about, how useful would it be:
a) curing addictions
b) curing, or improving, auto-immune diseases.
The second I ask for myself as I suffer with rheumatoid arthritis and skin issues and was wondering how useful hypnosis would be in helping, as I am sure a negative mental state worsens the condition.
i had this point highlighted to me yesterday by a dyed-in-the-wool j.w.
who is beginning to see cracks in his beloved golden calf of warwick.
so encouraging to hear his disgruntlement with org-related topics.. “many in the christian congregation may not have expected their loved ones to die this side of armageddon.” (july 2017 study wt).
How long before they start implying its already happened LoL.
But yes, when will they see they are pulled along like dogs on a string...how many tests should there BE before they finally finish the race?!
Unlike those at Warick, of course, who are so holy their already 'sorted mate'!!
so we know that by jw logic, the idea is that everyone who dies is acquitted of their sin and will get a resurrection in the "new world".
however, those directly destroyed by god, or at his command will not.
(for example, those destroyed in the flood.
can I just check with everybody. According to Watchtower doctrine, did they ever say the RESERRECTED as opposed to Armageddon survivors, would NOT be subject to the second death as they had been raised incorruptible having paid for their sin?
There's some boy on you tube insists this is the case. I was taught that only the 144 000 were never to be subject to the second death, or a further test. I mean though what he says makes sense, according to Biblical ideas, but since when has WT made sense LoL!!
the tender of the flock.
what manner of adversary are you, o cupid, my newest enemy and cleaver of a heart.
rent in two by love's dart unwanted?scarce would i seek your quiver emptied of all.
She was working for me running errands -- he'd call every phone number where she might be - nauseating! They were obviously using the idiot!
Oh that's quite sad, really. Its funny I was madly in love with a dead composer when I was young...I longed for the day in paradise he was resurrected, youthful again!
Maybe the age thing in Watchtard land is disregarded more for this very reason? (Then when elder's young again he won't think she's good looking anymore - the young are so fussy!)
Hey, Compound ! nice rap!!
since my awakening i have tried to understand why and how people could continue to believe so blindly in a proven false "religious" cult that has such an extensive and detailed record of scandals, lies and cover ups???
i've come to the personal conclusion that there are three major reasons.
i call them the 3 f-ups!
unconditional Shirley ohhh you meant in the daytime? I live in Barrow, Alaska now and the sun doesn't come out for more than 3 months. So my sky is black right now...
Now that *is* interesting unconditional....we should have a thread where we post the view from home, or nearby,as describe what it's like were we live. I find it all so fascinating!! Alaska sounds so romantic to me!
the presumably "biblical" practice of limiting the way women participate in congregational matters of the wtborg cult inc. (as well as certain other sects of christendom) may be a gross mis-interpretation of what paul meant.
i'm inclined to agree completely with this account of what paul really meant.. thoughts anyone?
aren't women more deserving of greater participation and respect?.
Cofty the women who are oppressed in the WT are the wives of over-worked elders. They pay the price for other people's expectations
I agree with this, as do his children pay the price.
But as to women having it easy don't make me laugh. No one has it easy in the Watchtower. Women are the workhorses....and domestic violence is endemic.
Cofty Try being a young married man with a family who is expected to care for all his family responsibilities as well as everything a normal publisher does and prepare two or three meeting parts every week, conduct the Watchtower study on a Sunday, attend never-ending contentious elder's meetings, visit the elderly and sick and be at the beck-and-call of everybody who expects you to sort out their latest family drama or petty argument with another publisher.
But the important point here is men have a choice.
If you think being busy and needed is hard....try being put down, lonely, ill or disabled, unwanted and jobless.
No. A busy life is a blessing, believe me.
by the time i'm in this forum i suppose plenty of you have already made the obvious comparison between the wt and many totalitarian kinds of government.. based on the 1984 novel by orwell, a satiric comment about the socialist regime, it's amazing how it fits almost perfectly the history of the wt.. the farms= the christendom (mainly ruled by the roman catholic church).
the animal farm = the bible students group.
the pigs = the wt leaders in brooklyn.
Perfect! I've always thought animal farm completely exemplifies the Watchtowers history.
The poor old horse who works himself to death for the other animals and the farm because he believes deeply it is his duty...All the while the pigs living it up in the big house take advantage of him. Then, when he collapses and can work no more, instead of a decent retirement they send him off to the knackers yard/glue factory to squeeze the last bit of cash out of him. Ugh. How much is that JUST like watchtower views the poor rank and file who give their all.

Bobcat As I pointed out above, there are no women in the book of Jonah. yet, Jesus places the 'queen of the south' as someone who is "raised up" (not "rises up") in the judgment with "this generation" and condemns it. Some may disagree with me, but I think I found the queen's counterpart in the book of Jonah. It has to be seen from the point of view of 1st century Jews towards women. (Jonah 3:6-9) See here for a 1st century view of women.
Christianity "raised up" women who accepted it, who also then became a witness to the faithless Jews who rejected it. (I'll leave it to the reader to decide if WTism 'raises up' women.)
Bobcat
Bobcat Is this what you mean? Very interesting.
And no, I don't think WT raises women up!
