hey everyone, i'm writing a new book.. it's the entirely fictional story about a character called "roy devons", an obese clown who was kicked out of clown college because he couldn't stop touching himself.
he launches his own youtube channel where he tells the world how wrong and unfunny clowns really are.
the world already knows this, and never really had much todo with clowns anyway, although some other ex-clowns felt like they needed to be reminded regularly of their past lives.. he hits upon the idea of asking for donations to support efforts to convince ex-clowns to get their prostates checked.

I actually don't care if the Thai girls where a smidge over 18 or five years over 18. It's still exploitative, it's still dangerous, it's still painful, miserable and lonely. There's still violence, addiction and very high risks of their contracting HiV. Whether they catch it at 16 or 21 they are still SHUNNED by their family. It's legal to have sex with a Thai girl at 15....is that ok then? No law broken? I don't have an obsession with age ....it's about power dynamic and the fact many of these girls are forced by criminals.

NotBlind problem with Cedars (sorry, I still call him that for some reason) is that he's a classic narcissist. Everything has to be about him. Any constructive suggestion is taken as a direct attack on him.
Yes people use the narcissist word a lot but there is the formal diagnosis NPD and I think he definitely has elements of it. I've noticed how he over reacts at the smallest of inconsequential criticism. I used to think it was because witnesses are criticized so much. As MickBobCat says he may be bipolar. There's definitely something going on there. Jofi_wofo I'd love to hear Dr. Grande's take, too!

No one is essential for creating more ex Jehovah's witnesses. Watchtower does a good enough job of that all on its own.
I think people are usually well on their way to waking up when they start watching you tube videos. Frankly most of Lloyds most ardent followers are youngsters who never trully believed it fully anyway, since they grew up with the internet.
Lloyd used to make some well thought out, excellent videos. But recently it's very obviously been about money and quantity rather than quality....such as those silly sushi videos. Quick 5 minute dopamine hits of "why I'm right"for exjws to make 'em feel better. Or people phoning in asking inane questions with equally inane and obvious answers.
The only change for me is I'm planning to make another EXJW Reddit sub but without it being controlled by his devotees - something I'd planned to do for a while. Just a genuinely open sub with minimal moderation and no one getting cancelled....even Lloyd!

You're wrong there. I do care about those Thai girls. Why Thailand? Do these men think these dirt poor women have anything but revulsion in their soul for these men? There are more reputable ways - you can go to people in Europe who are not being exploited, are safe, of reasonable age and keep their own money. Not so in Thailand. I'll tell you what depression on New year's looks like...my 38 year old sister in law alone & bawling her eyes out because she's just watched her husband suffer and die horrifically of a nasty cancer leaving her alone to raise their 3 year old daughter. I know mental health problems are not just about grief and loss but damn, I've known plenty of depressed people and they can barely go to 'parties' let alone in Thailand. That's not depression it's self pity (especially having people PAY for your holiday and arrange it for you. The fact he regularly goes to Thailand is the most egregious part. A place well known for its sex trafficking, especially if minors (he says girls in his response video and quickly corrects himself).
He takes in money on the backs of child abuse cases,/victims with help from hard working and talented people like lawyer Kim Silvio and hard working and talented writer Marc o Donnell. No one else receives money from the livestreams and patreons (his recent 'apology' one raked in $1000 so far) yet he spends it on girls in Thailand and heaven knows what they've been through. He then insinuates it's his wife's fault as 'we're not sexually compatible" (we all know what the underlying narrative is there)

I knew Lloyd was sexually dodgy and misogynistic. The way he gaslit the CSA victim in the ARC about her book and gaslit Jane who did such great work for CSA victims over on JW victims.org and over the top bashing of Kimmy of Mike and kim when she was unhappy with his self-publishing Ray Franz beloved book without permission. I noticed also his tendency to not have any strong older women's voices on his videos yet often bring in very young very attractive young girls with almost nothing to say, yet only for one video. It was very much a boys club. Any minor critique was met with immediate censorship, blocking and a public berating, mind you.although I put his 'touchiness' down to being an exjw who couldn't accept criticism easily.
