Here's one I found this morning. The elderly woman was knocked out by two men in a road rage fight. Two policeman were nearby. It's written as if it was thactualthe police knocked her out. This was in The Independent - a British broadsheet newspaper.
The concept of a statute of limitations for serious crimes such as sexual or violent offences, amazes me.

More concerned with inclusion, pronouns and other left wing twaddle.In recent years I've been absolutely gob smacked at the standard of work (grammar etc)produced by editorial writers, not just the BBC but at almost all the established agencies we are used to getting our news from in the UK. Especially the Broadsheets. At first I assumed they were Eastern 'content farms' or whatever. Or A.I. generated....but no! These shameless imposters who generally begin their bio's by "AS A ...(insert identity here: "Trans, left handed wombat of colour" or whatever) actually put their NAME to their "work". Then proceed to hector us on the definite understanding we have ZERO right of reply 🙄

for myself i find reddit to be sadly lacking in the jw world.
i just don't find the depth there e.g one sentence replies, trying to be funny.
In the early days I enjoyed exJW Reddit - less than 2,000 when i joined.
Now like the rest of Reddit it's run by PC robots. I was recently banned from one Exjw sub (not the main one).
A 16 year old girl made a post asking to DM other girls about their experience of growing up JW when questioning whether you may be attracted to the same sex. First response this middle aged (I know because he posts loads of pics) trans woman (biological male), STILL MARRIED to the same biological woman he married as a JW ministerial servant. (So straight, in other words, but claiming to be a lesbian) and here's the kicker POLYAMOROUS too. So for those out of the loop, that's someone who has sex with more than one person on the go.
So....At best a straight biological male was claiming he understood what it was like to be a JW teen girl, growing up thinking you may be same sex attracted, with all that entails - which wasn't true.
At worse a middle aged, married male who desires multiple partners was trying to get into private conversations with a minor on sexual subjects - not appropriate at all and I told him her question had nothing to do with him.
But he was A- ok by the mods, apparently. Who banned me from the sub, reported me to Reddit and got me a "hate speech" strike.

a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.
Well wasn't someone there when that lass Salena Vertolomo went around to his new place to confront him? Was it the house, or did she visit their local kingdom Hall when she was filmed talking to that chap outside? Either way, isn't it possible they had him moved rather than risk random - especially angry - apostates going to see him?

as an educated guess, the august 2024 watchtower may be delayed because 2 complicated subjects need to be discussed in this issue which haven't yet been approved to be included in the revised shepherding textbook.
perhaps the revised shepherding textbook must be finalised before this watchtower is released publicly.. the 2 subjects may be as follows:.
how to shepherd and appoint brothers based on the removal of the hour requirements, getting to know the brothers instead (does this mean prioritising appointing men who have auxiliary pioneered during the co visit and campaigns or men who are regular pioneers?).
UKPimo Also, why is there an additional change to the 2025 Kingdom Ministry school to include elders and MS wives for final two talks? Is there going to be new direction that will allow wives of appointed men to also have assignments at the Kingdom Hall??? If this proves true, a past speculation about this will have come true
*I think it's far more likely that this talk is going to be around CSA issues and direction regarding judicial cases since elders/MS wives now have a role as confidente/support personnel for the victims of CSA or rape cases. This, I'll venture to guess, will also include domestic violence cases in the future, too.
I think roles for women will enter 'through the backdoor', as it were, via cases such as these.
