not even as active as the jws (whom i have not seen for around a year now), nevertheless i get an occasional leaflet or other publication in my letterbox that seems to be seventh day adventist in origin.. the booklet i received the other day was entitled "national sunday law".

i also had received this book years ago when i had some dealings with the sdas.. from reddit: "national sunday law involves a conspiracy theory which alleges that the united states government is on the verge of enacting a national blue law that would make sunday a day of rest and worship.

the theory depends on the idea that the pope is the antichrist and the mark of the beast is worshipped on sunday.

Interesting they think a law in the USA will affect everyone the world over (again, if only😉)

But here in the Islamic republic of Europe can you imagine the outcry?! - our Mayor of London, our first minister of Scotland, our Labour leader of Scotland, our foreign secretary, our Lord Chancellor & secretary of state for Justice, our secretary of state for Energy....etc all of them Muslim or Jewish & w,ho would presumably be darn quick to enact the relevant EcHR or Equalities law to stop such a National Sunday law encroaching on their religious or cultural freedom! (I was tempted to write "Not phwyte"after each name as a reference to the speech made by Scottish first minister Humza Yusuf, a play on words to his decrying the number of "phwyte" people in Scotland!!🤦🏻‍♀️

for many years, since the mid 80s, marilyn zweifel manned the help-line.

several months ago, the help-line stopped due to marilyn's serious health issues.

marilyn was hospitalized a few weeks ago.. she has serious health issues and has suffered from 2 serious falls... she is now in a nursing home.

My goodness is there any way we could donate to send her an enormous bunch of flowers with "thank you" attached? It seems rather paltry considering everything she's done, but its the thought after all.

Blondie Hotpepper, she has died at this point in time. But if she were alive, she would thank you.

this just proves my theory, that an education on the top tier universities just sucks and means nothing in the real world, unless its in the stem education.

for 50 years usa had zero tariffs on other countries.

I have to say I do wish we would stop buying from a country that brings cheap, often pointless products over the sea in tankers that do the majority of the worlds polluting.....

As another poster says we all should start repairing things more etc & manufacture more at home. Train up our own people to design & build, too, although I appreciate that takes time.

One thing I like is that in my country Brits have gotten a lesson in just what a poor state their country is in & how we don't have the ability to be acting like Charlie Big Potatoes anymore. The only reason we get a seat at the table is because we're seem as so stable - which worries me because it means the establishment will fight to the death to prevent any new political party/parties from being formed & gaining power... especially one that might upset the apple cart & put the British working classes first for once.

i am new to this forum and uncertain that this is legitimately and entirely independent of conniving jw controllers or the wtb&ts and its related entities.

markers like the use of jw.org in the forum description and the policies seem controlled/controlling vs other xjw forums.

this is not an accusation, it is an attempt to know enough to be comfortable with motives of the ownership and controllers of the forum.

I don't think Watchtower really keeps this website under their radar as nothing of significance is really posted here in the way of leaks. Watchtower seems to be more concerned about Reddit and YouTube, as well as monitoring some prominent websites like AvoidJW and JWfacts.

Ha! You couldn't be more wrong. Almost everything of any significance is stored here and what's more everyone who writes or owns any website or you tube channel etc has either woken up and begun their journey because of this site, or researched information found & collated on this site before creating their own content.

In other words this site is the grand daddy! It's played a part in the journey of almost all apostates (whether they know it or not) with few exceptions such as the like of Barbara Anderson & James Penton whom I could probably count on one hand!
