No. Our Sunday meetings are on Saturday. Then, they do field service on Sunday.

I didn't answer the phone because I didn't recognize the number so he left a voice mail. He said that they are having the CO visit today. That must be why he called. A few minutes later he called my husband's phone and he answered. At first, he felt guilty and wanted to go. But then he realized what time it was and he knew he wouldn't have time to get ready. So brother elder can now check us off his list and report back to brother CO that he did his job and just leave out the fact that he didn't give the people he called enough notice to get to today's meeting.

I remember watching this speech when I was a teenager. At the time I thought, "How dare he say things like that. He knows what the truth is." Now, I watch it and it makes me so sad. I can actually relate to it instead of being critical. I've always been a big fan of mj. Even when I was at my most brainwashed I had a weird fascination with him. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that he da'd? I could never understand why he gave up "the truth" for his career. Now I do.

many millions who have lived in centuries past and who were not jehovahs witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity [to become jehovah's witnesses and thus qualify to be saved] for life.
many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness [become jehovah's witnesses] before gods time of judgment [against all other religions], and they will gain salvation [because of being jehovah's witnesses].

my dad saw it and is trying to get the family to not speak to me..
I don't have advise but I like your status as cult survivor. After reading your post I was going to put that on my status since I don't have any jws on my facebook anymore. But, then I remembered that I have two cousins on there and it might get back to my family.
