  I'm sure Arthur does not work on Lloyd's videos. Since ditching Tibor, Lloyd has been editing his videos himself. While Arthur might come through as immature, naive or lacking self-respect, he is nevertheless a kind-hearted, smart and good kid.

  just in from a friend who is fading.. disfellowshipping will no longer be a term used by jws.

  study article 35, paragraph 4 footnote says this:.

  It's evidently a case of Watchtower not liking that the brothers are grabbing the food while it's in the kitchen. So they closed the kitchen door until the spiritual food is ready to be served. 17 languages were released when I last checked before Watchtower pulled the plug on us. I don't think there will be any significant changes. The Tagalog edition was changed yesterday, they updated the section on handling minors who committed a serious wrongdoing, but it was a minor update.

  Yes, the links were disabled, the files were deindexed. None of the 17 languages there were accessible on the AWS Cloudfront are accessible anymore. I suppose they will reindexed when they are ready to be connected to the JW.org Magazines section.

  @Marcial, all issues have been unpublished, all access to the files on Amazon was disabled until shortly before the magazine is visible on JW dot org. Apparently the French edition is not yet finished in digital form. The English edition literally went to print yesterday.

  I don’t see it on the website yet. What does it mean “released on servers”?

  On the servers = The Amazon and Akamai-powered cloud infrastructure that hosts the content distribution network behind JW.org website. The publications are first uploaded there, replicated around the server farm for fast access from anywhere in the world. Only after that is the actual website updated (via their in-house content management system) and the publications visible in the usual manner. The URLs to the uploaded publications can be query by the so-called GetPubMediaLinks API call.
  

  Has any change been made to an earlier version of the magazine that would explain the delay in publication?

  The magazine was rewritten from scratch since Governing Body Update #2, even though the earlier version was ready for printing. The actual English language edition of the August Watchtower went to print today.

  Have they removed the word disfellowshipping but not the practice? Or are they trying to water the whole thing down?

  Yes, it's all word games. "Removed from the congregation" instead of "disfellowshipping", "committees of elders" instead of "judicial committees". One relevant change though is the discontinuation of warning talks if someone is marked for "walking disorderly", because now each individual Christian can decide for themselves whether to mark such a person, not just the elders.

  True, but the announcement did not go into the reason behind it. That is why I explained it.
