....The Memorial is Canceled....Permanently..
by OUTLAW inthe wbts has canceled the book study, because small meetings are very important..jw`s will now prepare for small meetings,by only going to large meetings.....jehovah had the wbt$ cancel the book study.so jw`s could show both jehovah and satan who they are loyal to.....jehovah is giving jw`s a choice of what to do with their new free time..#1:do more personal study of wbt$ literature..or..#2:hang out with satan!..........armageddon is just around the corner!..study as much wbt$ literature as you can..there will be constant new light..what you learn today, won`t matter tomorrow..so be sure to study a lot!.........and..don`t let satan tempt you to hang out with him..not even if he offer`s you a cold beer!.......................................................there is another meeting cancellation..the "memorial"............as armageddon is so close, jehovah needs to know who jw`s are loyal to.....the memorial will now be known as "vote for jehovah or satan day!
".....every year jw`s will get to vote as to who they are loyal to,jehovah or satan..the winner will receive an all expense paid 2 week vacation.......who do you want to see go on that nice holiday?..jehovah or satan?......................................outlaw

Birthday
by lostinthought inso today is my birthday.
one of my "worldy" friends invited me over his house cause he thought being alone on my birthday was horrible.
we all had ice cream sunday's and we played words with friends, nothing extravagant but a way to recognize that i was born today.

Me and my brother.
by nicolaou inan earlier discussion has been highlighting the differences between da'ing and df'ing.
xena said:i am sorry qadreena but i have never in the 20 some odd years i have been a jw ever heard of an unbaptised publisher being d/aed...marked as bad association yes..but d/a...no...but i guess stranger things can happen.... well that brought it all back.. actually xena the exact same thing happened to my brother in the early 80's.
he was only 14. he'd carried on associating with a friend of his who'd been disfellowshipped.

Can someone please help me?
by ruderedhead inhello, i'm new to posting here, although i have been reading and gaining insight for quite a while.
thank you to all of you.. i wrote a letter of disassociation this week, and sent it to the local kh.
i have been faded for a number of years, and after much research, know that the witnesses do not have the truth.

i am a regular pioneer in my cong reading crisis of conscience.here goes...
by MsGrowingGirl20 ini'm on page 90 right now...the info is definitely new and gives me a totally diff view as to how i used to think of faithful and discreet slave.
i was thoroughly disgusted with the way the brothers handled the oral sex and leadership problem and the insight on the scriptures book...... still have alot of questions though.

Armageddon is NOT coming soon. When I was in high school (I graduated in the 60's) the Awake said the end would be here before I could graduate college.
To me Armageddon comes to each of us... perhaps as a crisis of faith, perhaps a family death, or perhaps a health issue.
If you check the history of the christian bible, Revelation only got in by a single vote. From what I understand the symbolism was understood by the early christians and is totally about those times. If you need to pray, pray.
You have all the time you need.

Any of you have a hard time finding a job since leaving?
by lilbluekitty ini was raised as a dub and my mother never pushed me to have a job.
even when i tried to have jobs she woudln't let me because to her pioneering was the only thing i should be doing with my life.
i did graduate high school and attended a community college for a year but i haven't worked in nearly 7 years and with a gap that large i can't find work.

I had a friend who volunteered at a library for about a year putting books away etc. She checked frequently to see when they were hiring and they occaisionly had an opening as a library aid. You could check in your area and see if that could fit you..
She did get hired they already knew her work ethic and skills.
Wishing you "luck"

Nothing More To Say
by Farkel ini really have nothing much more to say, except to say thank you to all the people who have contributed to me in my threads and all the people whom i battled over the years.
the battles have been most entertaining and enlightening.
i've learned a great deal from them, and i've laughed a great deal from the idiotic attempts of fools to make a coherent argument (think "dubs").. it's been a roller-coaster ride for me over a decade and it has consumed a huge amount of my time.
