Pesonally I like the idea of fluoridated salt. That way, if you want it in your diet...buy the salt and eat it till your hearts content.
Two toxins at once, now there's a great plan.

lately, even late night comedians are starting to make fun of the president.. i hear more negatives about the president than ever before---even from his own voters.. (i had high hopes for him when he beat mccain but since then, i believe the president has been a huge disappointment)..
Designs, Blackwater still works for the government, they just changed their name. If it was so awful why didn't President Obama get rid of them?

I heard that theres radioactive contaminated small see life as far south as Guam.
You do realize that EVERYTHING contains some radioactive material?
The relevant question is how much, which is why some of us keep asking for numbers.

Designs, sure Congress and its staff CAN availe themselves of the exchanges. Why should they? Obama just gave them a free ride.
Problem Addict: It is my understanding that if your employees buy their insurance on the exchanges your business will be paying fees because what you're giving them is inadequate or too expensive. And how long are we going to be hearing about W? Did President Obama think the job was going to be easy?

Glander, good questions. Notice that you never see numbers attached to these articles because 1) the reporters don't undersand them, and 2) they usually don't support the hysterical headline used to pull in readers.

Designs 1) So if you can refute the facts you just smear the source and move on?
Designs 2) I agree wholeheartedly. Congress and Obama cronies (unions, wall street financiers, misc big donors) are doing a very good job of screwing over everbody that isn't them.

Republican held Congress has voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act 40 times (their Big accomplishment) yet they will personally benefit from the Obamacare program.
Emphasis mine.
Absolutely not true. On August 1 The President issued a waiver exempting Congress from a provision of the Affordable Care Act that would cost them either $5000 or $11000 a year depending on if their families are covered.

for over 100 years, infant mortality has steadily declined.
we now take it for granted that all our chidren will grow in to healthy, active adults.
A lot of medical procedures involve risk analysis, immunizations are a good example. (I think flouride is a good example but that's the subject of another thread). I don't know the exact numbers but lets say that there is a tetanus shots create a complication in one in a million cases, and 1/10of those are serious. If you immunize a billion people you're going to see a thousand problems, a hundred of which are serious. So yes you can point to a bunch of people that got sick from the shot. But if one out of ten thousand people are going to get tetanus without the shot then 100,000 are going to get sick. Simple math which too many don't think about.
i would have done a lot of things differently if i'd known that compatibility started between her boobs.

Phizzy, what you call "proper football" has become a big deal here in Seattle. My oldest son may make a fan of me, I just don't understand it very well.

I did not expect much, and he's delivered it.
To be fair, Americans have unrealistic ideas of what the government can do generally, and the Presidency in particular. But he did not have a lot of record to stand on, and he does not seem comfortable with the political horsetrading (or horse beating) it takes to get stuff done in Washington.
