Snarky answer: they dumbed down the test.
Serious answer: Measuring IQ is a slippery business, better education may account for better ability to take a test. I would not be surprised that better health care and nutrition are significant factors.

they seem determined to undermine the us democracy and shut the government down hurting employees and veterans.. what a despicable bunch, hope they get their asses kicked for what they are doing..
The bill was passed in the senate 219–212.
That would have been an interesting trick since there are only 100 Senators.
As to what the electorate voted for: The current makeup of the House of Representatives also represents the electorate, just at the local level rather than the entire country. There is considerable opposition to the ACA in various parts of the country.
I agree with tootired, just let the dems own it. If its the mess the Republicans think its going to be, the Democrats can clean it up.
usa, arkansas | man fires gun at a group of jehovah's witnesses.
centerton police arrested a man accused of firing close to 19 rounds at a group of jehovahs witnesses on saturday (sept. 28th).
john baldwin, 35, bonded out on $50,000 sunday morning.. according to a probable cause affidavit, three jehovahs witnesses approached baldwin in his front yard at rainbow farm road and baldwin told them, get your (explicit) off my property, i moved out here to get away from people like you.. the report states the jehovahs witnesses apologized and as they were getting in their car one of them heard get me my 9.. baldwin admitted to firing a gun at three jehovahs witnesses when they drove away from his house, according to the report.. baldwin was booked into benton county jail on felony charges of aggravated assault.. several of baldwins neighbors said he moved to the neighborhood less than a month ago.. kristi tidwell who lives nearby said she was home when police arrived at her neighbors home.. my husband and i were working around the house, we had the blinds open in the back we saw probably seven or eight cop cars pulling in there, tidwell said.
I have asked three times to be added to the do not call list, plus I called and left a message at the hall, they still come. Of course, there is no excuse for shooting a gun over it, but I can relate to his frustration. I work from home and it is very annoying to be interrupted, often I am covered in paint and don't look presentable, but if I ignore them they just keep coming back.Ultimately, you are dealing with a bunch of amateur volunteers, some children, with a very haphazard system of recording info ... scribbled not on a piece of paper that probably get's lost or discarded by someone along the chain.
Although they can seem annoying they don't usually call that often and i's not really onerous to answer the door now and again.
But yeah, you can't not-answer because you don't know who it is ... I wouldn't want to miss out on the opportunity for Girl Scout cookies !!
I agree with Simon, you don't want to miss the cookies. I can think of two methods that might get there attention
1) glue your letter to a piece of plywood, go to the hall on Saturday night and screw the plywood to the front door. Use about eight screws so they have to spend some time getting it off.
2) That may raise legal issues (although it wold be fun) so hire a process server (cost starts at about $35 here) and tell him the best time to catch somebody is about half way through the Sunday meeting.
.....states that there is 95% certainty climate change is man made.
people are still saying we don't need to do anything about it.. if you were told there is a 95% risk of you dying if you don't change your diet, wouldn't you change your diet?.
sammies: I think asking what should be done will only get the thread more off-topic as it tend to drive the tin-foil crowd out of their caves; perhaps start a new thread with that question?
I disagree. This argument would improve considerably ( I hope) if we moved toward "If we control pollution thruogh reasonable means and encourage low populatin growth, life for all of us will improve" and away from "if we don't outlaw automobiles and make people ride bicycles tomorrow we're all gonna die."

I bet every one of next year's convention will feature a JW who's been shot at.
And their will be Watchtower articles:
"Andre, a faithful servant of Jehovah, continues to preach regularly even after being shot at."

"Of course, you realize that you just acknowledged that humans are responsible for climate trends?"
I haven't said we aren't. At least not for some time. And yes, that may be a change of position for me. Thinking people change their minds from time to time, unlike unthinking twits.
Read what again?

That flat line is significant. We need to nail down why that is happening, in order to do more of it (or maybe less of something) so that the trend will continue or even improve.
came back from 20-3 deficit to win it in overtime.
first 4-0 start in franchise history..
QB is Russel Wilson, 2nd year. He had a bang up rookie year, getting off to a slow start this year, but woke up late in today's game. Our defense has been awsome.
third chapter is up.
