  This Bible Scripture from Romans Chapter Two.....
  2: 14,15 For when the Gentiles without the law have a natural desire to do the things of the law, they are a law to themselves; Because the work of the law is seen in their hearts, their sense of right and wrong giving witness to it, while their minds are at one time judging them and at another giving them approval.

  What I know is that people acceptable to God have always existed --since Able and before the formation of the nation of Israel (I can't name every single one in chronological order.) So, it is possible to be in good standing with God without belonging to a "group." Also, the Ethiopian Eunuch was clearly non-Jewish and not a member of God's then "chosen people" yet he was spoken of well in the Greek Scriptures. Just some thoughts.

  How to explain, need some advice.

  to give you some background, i'm married, two pre-teen boys.

  i haven't been to meetings regularly for about a year, and not at all now for about 2 months.

  previously we were all hit and miss, so it's only very recently that my boys have taken any notice.

  There's several explanations you can provide anybody to "buy time" while you decide how and when to "pull the rug from under them."

  Tell them that you're not leaving Jehovah you have just become discouraged by "some people" (the Arrogant "Governing Body") not being good examples of what a servant of Jehovah should be. After all "Woe to those who cause a little one to stumble."

  Tell them you need excouragement and would like an "older sister" to visit you. Then if they assign an "older" sister to talk and you feel comfortable enough ask her to explain all the things you have questions about Biblical or not.

  Be sure that during the time that you are inactive you have continuous heart felt discussions with your children. Ask them hypothetical questions like what they would do if you left the Borg because of the many inconsistencies: Would they ignore you and shun you? Would they be willing to trade a life for the organization intead of pursuing highter education or a job they really like? If they are being told to get baptized already, explain that this is a decision that is regarded as more important than marriage and they shouldn't feel obligated to do it before they are 18.

  Do all you can now so that when you decide to leave, your family can hopefully leave with you.

  i just returned home from the kingdom hall.

  i am an elder.. after the meeting all the elders were called to the back room.

  i thought this was an impromptu elders' meeting.

  I could not believe what he was saying. We have three children, ages 3, 4 and 6. It is true that they do not sit during still meetings holding their Bibles like little robots.

  
  

  
  You know, the control only gets worse. After a while, they'll be wanting you to get thembaptized before they are 18 or else there's something "wrong" with them or you and your wifes "Parenting Skills."

  Then if your children choose a different religion or none at all--- the Elder Group Mentality ruled by the self-proclaimed "governing body' in Brooklyn will say you can't be an elder and that you are condemned for not following their Non-Biblical commands of "early Baptism." There's no end to it... only you can end the non-sense.

  shouldn't they thank him for spreading the watchtower society's message?

  isn't it a good thing if we all "know the truth" since the "truth will set us free"?.

  Thanks for the research Mary! The Watchtower Society has basically said in their own publication that It's perfectly acceptable to question religions and point out misrepresentations. That just follows right along Jesus's own example.

  So, It's OK for the Watchtower writers in essence to preach and print: "All false religions [except the Jehovah's Witness religion] that make up the Harlot Babylon the Great will be destroyed at Armageddon due to their bloodguilt, etc." Thus bringing a loss of reputation and goodwill to those religions, but it isn't OK for someone to seek to understand the doctrinal and prophetic discrepancies in the Watchtower Society's "Bible Study Aides"?

  I can't see any logic in that, event though I try.

  Karen's husband, Tony, said: "She was on her way to a Christian meeting, at the Kingdom Hall, about 400 yards from our home .

  The incident happened at about 7pm on Thursday last week.

  In most places it is not advisable for anyone to walk alone at night. And 400 yards is almost a quarter of a mile, why was she walking alone? Was this something she did often? If so, why didn't the other “brothers” who have transportation care enough to notice this could be potentially dangerous situation for her? Why didn’t someone offer to give her a ride?

  If door to door in broad daylight is done in groups, shouldn't people who go to meetings be in a group even a small group for safety?

  WEDDING PHOTOS

  had a fantastic time, couldnt have asked for better weather...forecast said it was going to rain it was hot and sunny right up until we went inside for the reception then a brief shower or too so that was fantastic.. ceremony was over before i knew it, went without a hitch.. reception and photos both great fun.. pretty buggered now hehehehe.. the next few photos are of us in the morning unfort as yet i have none of the ceremony but will pass them on if anyone wants to see.
