  wow, i was just forwarded an email from a good friend of mine who recently moved away from where i live.

  he was telling me that his mother sent this to him after he expressed concern about the pedophile issue.

  he couldn't believe that she basically attacked him over this and that she defended the issue so strongly.

  hi,.

  i'm hoping someone can help me.. i'm trying to find quotes from the watchtower publications talking about how the catholics are following men instead of jesus, and how they almost worship the pope, basically any quotes like that where the society condemns the catholics for the same thing the dubs do with the governing body.. thanks :-)

  2-Witness Rule

  does anyone have a list of scriptures to prove that christians should not be forced to go by the rigid pharisaical "2-eye-witness rule"?.

  i have some:.

  matthew 18:6. romans chapter 13. leviticus 5:1. leviticus chapter 20. matthew chapter 15. matthew chapter 23. and does anyone have a list of scriptures that show that christians are not supposed to be under the old testament law covenant?.

  i have been reading this board since right before dateline.. i want to say thanks to simon for this great website!

  i want to thank bill bowen, sheila bowen, barbara anderson, joe anderson, the pandelos, erica rodriguez, and all of the other silentlambs who have spoken out!.

  i have some questions.. does anyone have any information about a circuit overseer named orval ellis (he used to be the co in arkansas, and then oklahoma, and just now colorado).

  I have been going to Meetings for several years with my Parents (who are Inactive Witnesses).

  We have several problems the last few years, with Elders and Family Members.

  Since then, the Witnesses have treated us like we were Disfellowshipped without even being charged with anything.

  So, I took the "Un-Disfellowshipped" Name from one of Bill Bowen's Posts where he went back to a Meeting in June 2001 (I think), and he said they had created a new Position in the Organization called "Un-Disfellowshipped".
