Very "timely" WT information for my research of Hebrew and Greek Scriptures...

it can be "a very difficult task", "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing", i suppose so, if finding the mistakes in the nwt.

Very timely is page 22, "The Septuagint", in which the hebrew scriptures were translated to greek, it was "impressive" the size of that project, and it began to be viewed by some as a 'christian' translation. Undoubtably the NWT is a translation of that translation. That translation based on the article is probably better and more christian then the original.
Very timely material, I will stop all my research now.

i remember as a kid, 80's, it was called the "new system", then late 80's, early 90's, changed to new world order.
it's interesting that governments, conspiracy theories, news, etc, are all calling the one world government, the new world order.

THAT is why the songbook was changed, it was the only book which is used all the time, in which the New World Order, (ex foward you witnesses, "GO tell far and wide Gods NEW ORDER = now changed to paradise". )
The New Order in teachings also had to do with the human/earthly government, the faithful slave, aka WT as the human order it would all go through.
Now, we had been taught that the human earthly governments would try to make peace worldwide, and through human organizations do that and people putting faith in these organizations (United Nations), etc, is infact taking the mark of the wild beast or it is the wild beast. I wonder if they realized they had become what they were teaching against, and now removing traces of it?

it shows the hebrew word, the english translation, then the phrase in it's bible.

The WTS didn't even translate the bible, it was all taken from Westcott and Hort. The scripture omissions are the same as the ones from the scrolls Westcott and Hort translated from. That would explain how when writers were questioned and they didn't understand hebrew or greek, because it wasn't ever translated, they took Westcott and Horts work and changed a few words here or there, if anything.

I would be testing it, here is a REALLY good example, Isaiah 14:9 look it up. Now go here......www.scripture4all.org and get to the old testament interlinear of hebrew. SAUL is replaced with HELL and Rephilim/Giants/Etc are replaced with DEAD. HOW is Saul, spelt exactly as Saul of King Saul, changed to HELL? Unless the hebrew to english word translation is wrong, there are WAY too many changes like this.
I can't wait to read the whole bible with things like this fixed, I bet it would put a different spin on quite a few things.

Genesis 5:2 - He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them ADAM in the day they were created. (some bibles had that, like original KJV but changed it to mankind, some changed it to human or man.
Also, in the hebrew scriptures, God's name appears as "IEUE", NOT YHWH, or JVHV. Yet seeing the hebrew, it was IEUE, then english translation said Yahweh, then in the bible print said LORD. If you've researched and found a very good translation, post it here please.
I am researching available ancient scrolls in which all bibles published have been based off of, and after comparing them and their content, then I am hoping to find a true translation where the translator doesn't 'assume' what was meant, and leaves it for the reader to decide. If not, anyone recommend a good large paper version of the hebrew and greek scriptures?
These translations can majorly change the meaning.

thetrueone - it's not that there are 'more' homosexuals, its that vs what it really is, it's being accepted and taught as normal and something to be happy and proud about, wide out in the open. In the past 2,000 years then you note any country or civilization that had such openess and public acceptance of it? Even OUR LAWS could put MARRIED couples in jail for sodomy in the USA, so a heterosexual relationship very recently let alone public opinon but government could equal jail time. I can't paste a link here, but just look up sodomy law usa or wiki. Until 2003 many states still had jail and fines, even though rarely enforced and whether a married couple or not.
If you don't see it you don't, but people today have changed from people in the 80/s and early 90's.

LatinxJW - those things you mentioned are casualites of disasters. Do YOU realize that 11 million children die each YEAR from starvation? That OUTNUMBERS all the deaths of WW2, if you take 11million a year vs WW2 = 77,000,000 in the same years took WW2 for 60,000,000. It's like having WW2 UNENDING!!
But I was not going on 'numbers', I was going on a decline in moral, mindset, in human nature itself.
Numbers can be played with and made to look like anything, depending how they are twisted. To look more or less, yet society as a whole, how people act, etc, is harder to mess with.

Thetrueone- rapid declines/changes since 97 - School safety and shootings (I NEVER feared of school violence while a kid and I moved around a lot and had been in areas which NOW would not feel safe. The columbine shootings started a downfall there.
- Extreme family violence - I remember as a kid when up north, 2 JW teens killed their parents and younger brother while they slept with an ax, and have seen family violence and murders become daily news
- homosexuality - it was not broadcast and in movies and tv anything like now
- Video game violence - I remember when Mortal Kombat for Sega came out, and there were news reports and tons of parents and organizations in strong opposition against that game, because it was a fighting game showing graphic. Now that game would be considered rated G probably.
- weather extremes / seasons off / etc - the weather was very normal and predictable each year, mild, and seasons in place. Having spring and flowers bloom in northern states in January, etc, never happened when I was kid. What's interesting is that in book of jubilees it foretold this occuring in the time of the end.
- natural diasters - past 5 years, let alone 10 years, records of these have been broke since recorded history of the said events (since 1800's)
- divorce - I believe as a kid, it was perhaps 50% or less, it's probably 90%+ now?
Those are a few things that stick out in my mind. My saying I'm under 30, I think these are significant to have occured in the past 10 years, which is a very short period of time, for such major changes on such a wide scale.
