Well in the April 15, 2010, they also changing the generation I heard, I gotta find my copy if it's been handed out yet. So the millons living 'may' never die would fit right in. EVEN if it was true the first one was called 'may' never die, since that talk that day, the past 80+ years, and even the booklet, it's been "will" never die, I am looking for that part in the revelation book now too as we speak.

8/15/2009 page 16 paragraph 17, "from 1918 until 1925, the talk "millions now living will never die," which explained the hope of everlasting life on earth, was presented by jehovah'v servants in over 30 languaged worldwide.
(notice it doesn't say "jehovah's witnesses, but jehovah's servants, because they weren't called that then) by 1934, jehvoahs' witnesses......... .

OLD songbook and Revelation, anybody ever notice this?!

in their 1928 songbook, the number of songs extolling jesus was about the same as the number extolling jehovah.
but in the latest songbook of 1984, jehovah is honored by four times as many songs as is jesus.

In the book of revelation climax, page 36, mentions In the songbook produced by Jehovahs people in 1905, there were twice as many songs praising Jesus as there were songs praising Jehovah God. In their 1928 songbook, the number of songs extolling Jesus was about the same as the number extolling Jehovah. But in the latest songbook of 1984, Jehovah is honored by four times as many songs as is Jesus. THis is in harmony with Jesus own words " the father is greater than I am."
Look in your old songbook right now, in the back where they categorize songs, Jesus has 7 songs, Jehovah has 28 songs! 7x4=28! So Jehovahs 28 songs plus Jesus 7 songs = 35 songs out of 225 are for Praising Jehovah and or Jesus, but for Jehovah alone, thats 28/205. I guess the rest of the songs are for obedience, etc, esp to faithful slave huh?
KEYPOINT HERE, is that the revelation book states 4 times as many songs, so the WT ACKNOWLEDGES that only 28 songs in that book for for Jehovah. I guess most meetings are NOT singing praises to Jehovah then are/were they? Also interesting the new songbook isn't categorized, so see how many this one would do that for.

THIS CAN BE BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a change, but with our "new" songbook.............
in the revelation its grand climax at hand, page 36 is a box that is titled "loving praise to jehovah and his son", in which is makes this statement.....In the songbook produced in 1905, there were twice as many songs praising Jesus as there were songs praising Jehovah God. In their 1928 songbook, the number of songs extolling Jesus was about the same number extolling Jehovah. But in the latest songbook of 1984, Jehovah is honored by four times as many songs as is Jesus. This is in harmony with Jesus own words, "The father is greater then I am".
Now, in this new songbook, how many songs praising GB vs songs praising Jehovah? I also wonder if those numbers of Jesus being reduced were just replaced by GB songs.

I do love this paragraphy in the book of Revelation (the WT book that is) page 35 par 9, "As the years went by, however, many congregations failed to heed the words of Jesus. Lack of love for Jehovah, for the truth, and for one another resulted in their drifting into spiritual darkness. Having no love for God and for the truth.....They came to be dominated by a selfish clergy class that made its own kingdom here on earth. "
(I ommitted a few things inbetween, but added not a single word to that paragraph, do those statements seem to describe any organization here on earth right now? )

Feb 15, 2010 6 months later - page 15 par 8, - "The annointed followers of Christ have been extending the invitation since as far back as 1918. In that year, the public talk entitled, "Millions now living may never die" (may??) offered hope that many will gain life in a paradise earth after the battle of Armageddon. "
Also of note, par 10 says this.... Wt aug 15, 1934 page 249 (Those of the Jonadab class must go along with those who are of the anitypical Jehu company, taht is, teh annointed". So I guess the great crowd are called the Jonadab class, this will be fun to look up. AND also of note, the WT is doing a lot of quotes from their "old light, old truth", when the WT only goes back as far as 1950 or 1960 now.

yes".
to me that means all ten including the first one,you shall have no other god's(jehovah) before me.therefore christian have a new law and constitution under jesus christ.big jeh is out of the pix.. gilead.gb member d.s.said to missionaries "get new ones to support the preaching work financially and to obey the slave.must be short of cash.. bob.

perhaps a big part ment that those who break the law earn death, and Jesus being the fulfillment of it meant that he is paying the price for your sins. There's an idea now isn't there? Then, as explained further, even though his death takes the place of what is due by you, it's for those who are attempting to follow it, because nobody can not not sin at some point, but those who willfully flaunt it and 'practice' it so to speak?

Exactly! If the sabbath was abolished, then why did Jesus FORETELL about fleeing into the mountains, say pray that your flight might not occur during the sabbath? If the law is abolished, then we can freely fornicate as well right? and murder?

Over half the world population have never heard of Jehovah's Witnesses
by alanv injust looked through some of the largest populations in the world and ten of them add up to 3,500,000,000. how many witnesses serve these 10 countries.
no more than 60,000. the largest are china and india which together have around 2.5 billion people.
so is the jw good news being spread earthwide.
