They must be getting a little fancy in the societies IT department. My theory is they may have tracked internet activity and looking at where files were being sent and emailed, etc. If anybody else is up there, prob best to get it transfered to a phone via usb, then from a phone that the society wouldn't have tied to their IT network, to then email it. Then it's pretty much untraceable.

"during the first 100 years of his reign" - is not his reign supposed to be 1,000 years? Is not his reign supposed to begin when ALL anointed are with him in heaven? If so, then either A. there are no anointed left and the GB are imposters (they are no matter what but if all were in heaven then there could be none on earth) or B. his reign hasn't begun yet, nobody has been appointed over anything.

The 2014 program if you haven't read it is basically, Preaching and serving the GB are more important than your own health, financial security, family, eating, recreation, and education. Those who WILL die at armagedon are those who put any weight into the above. Those who WON'T die are those who remain stupid and uneducated, those who unquestionably accept every utterance from the GB's backside, and those who obey what the GB commands. The last day of the assembly lists all the ways in which one can show their obedience for the GB and their committment to not enjoy their life, recreation, put family first, their own health and finanical situation, etc.

For each of those 2nd place things, they put a couple of scriptures to supposedly back them up. So where is the scriptual counsel to put your health as second place? Luke 12:25 which says those who are anxious won't add a day to their life. (Anxiety has absolutely nothing to do with taking care of your health) and 1 Tim 5:23 that says if you are sick to use some wine instead of water. (A bible remedy for sick stomach, how does that back up NOT taking care of your health?)
They must literally crap out these teachings they come up with.

It gets worse, this will have to be by far the worst convention ever had.
They also have "Who will NOT inherit God's Kingdom" - they'll obviously say those who put those '2nd' place things in a higher priority.
Then they have a "who WILL inherit God's kingdom"
"Those who are poor" - (NO JOKE IT SAYS THAT!!! Obviously to try to flip all the poor and poverty for listening to the GB on not saving up or higher education.)
"Those who "become as young children". (Obviously meaning those who don't do schooling and remain idiots, those who accept every word from the GB without challenge as children don't question their parents, etc)
"Those who are persecuted for righteousness sake" (obviously those who shun/leave family listening to the GB, those who are in poverty and hard times, bad health, depressed, etc, for listening to the GB etc.)
"Those who help Christs Brothers" (Obviously those who OBEY the GB)
Then on Sunday they they how people can be as young children, help the GB, and not enjoy their lives, they mention, preaching house to house, informally, publically, moving to where need is greater, learning a new language, reach out for minsiterial servant, elder, pionner, entering the kingdom maimed and lame (not taking care of health, finances, etc), and finally 100 years of listening to the GB.

I think that talk sums up what being a JW is. When they say 2nd place, they really mean not at all.
So having fun, recreation, etc is bad. Enjoying what you eat and drink is bad. Being concerned about your health, excersising, fitness, etc is bad. Dating and getting married, having a 'fun' wedding, etc, is bad. Keeping ties with your family, being close, putting family above others and the governing body is bad. Trying to save for retirement, get a good education, not be in poverty, etc, is bad.
Hopefully some may decide after Fridays meetings to not return for the rest, and perhaps another meeting again.

Over 7yrs as a JW and I just found out I'm not supposed to buy Girl Scout Cookies?
by Maat13 ini'm still in the matrix(the truth), but 'morpheus' and his team are valiantly working on a way to get me out.
in the meantime, everyday i am discovering so much about being a jw i never knew, like don't buy girl scout cookies, that i keep asking myself "what have i got myself into".. maat.
really lame for a first post, but i figure i should start some where.

I'm eating some thin mints right now lol. Even before I left I used to buy them, as well as my family. We didn't care our rebellion on that was going to help little girls w/ their summer camp activities unlike the GB.
