  missing a lot of the oldies and goodies -- is this site so new, no one has signed on yet?

  i am confused... but then, i will have to wait and see what happens.. somehow - change is not the best option but we adjust..have most of the users gone to other locations?.

  Why must we APPLY for everything?

  i was thinking about this today, after seeing another thread on the subject of serving in israel, of all places.

  there have been many comments on the recent thread, and the ones a little older, about how utterly ridiculous that premise is.. the bigger question is why do i have to apply?

  THE REAL REASON! - even though the WT doesn't sponsor or pay a penny, if you look at some of the documentation for countries they must report as being a charity, they will spin the 'reports' as evidence they are doing charity work. Without their precious reports, they'd have NOTHING to spin doctor, then they would lose some of their precious idol money to taxes.

  The two above me forgot to notice the invisible asterik in the form of the word, 'especially'. That means skip physical needs and just spiritial, which means society and everybody else does literature only, all donations and money for literature stuff only, etc. The bible doesn't say that, but since the GB is above the bible and God, etc, that is what is to be done.

  " 3/2015 study wt learn from illustration of talents par 13.. so there you have it, to get salvation you need to only obey the gb and if you obey and worship the gb, then you will be judged as a sheep.

  The 3/2015 WT has a lot of crazy stuff, best one in awhile!

  I like the parts about how Jah has had to make the GB more discreet (in other words they have NOT been discreet), and then later on talking about how the groomsmen some were discreet and some were foolish but those apply to the followers of the GB. Anybody with some thinking capacity can put 2+2 together and see the GB are the foolish ones / evil slave by their own interpretations.

  Let me translate that crap for you guys. So, the faithful slave is PROPHETIC of a small group who will dispense spirtual food. But the evil slave part you can just ignore, it's not prophetic or anything at all. It's just a hypothetical what if and a warning but there is nothing to see there, move along.

  I missed this one, in another article....." Jesus’ illustration of the sheep and the goats teaches us that those with the earthly hope have the honor of loyally supporting Jesus’ anointed brothers The GB in the preaching and teaching work." = I can't believe no other christians have figured out that sheep and goats has nothing to do with those who love their neighbor, etc, but just means those who take the HONOR of LOYALLY blind devotion to Anthony Morris and friends. It's so obvious!

  I guess they just admitted their self title as the discreet slave was NOT discreet. I think they just admitted they are the UNdiscreet slave, which means evil slave.

  Another gem in this article.....

  "In 1924, The Watch Tower said that the Samaritan pictured Jesus; the road from Jerusalem to Jericho, which ran downhill, pictured mankind’s downward course since the rebellion in Eden; the thieves on the road pictured giant corporations and profiteers; and the priest and the Levite typified ecclesiastical systems. Today, our literature uses that illustration to remind all Christians that we must be impartial in rendering aid to those in need, especially in a spiritual sense. Does it not make us happy to see that Jehovah makes his teachings clear to us?" ----------- don't you love how they spindoctor that, physical aid to EVERYBODY but then they insert espcially spiritual so they don't give ANY aid to anybody including their own members then the line, "DOES it make us happy to see that The GB make their teachings clear to us?"

  Next they take the parable of the faithful slave and 10 virgins and claim one means the GB themselves and the other means everybody else. 2 parables about the same group of people but they twist it to fit their agenda that they are the pious slave that all others must obey. " Remember the context. Jesus had just discussed his “faithful and discreet slave.” That slave would prove to be a small group of anointed men who would take the lead among Christ’s followers during the last days. Jesus warned those men that they must remain faithful. Next, he broadened his focus and gave this parable to admonish all his anointed followers in the last days to “keep on the watch” lest they miss out on their precious reward."

  NEXT is the call for following the GB without ANY date or deadline in mind. I guess they are starting to prepare everybody for why the GB isn't starting and the end coming anytime soon........

  " They count the cost of faithful service, realizing from the outset that their assignment will mean giving up many of the material advantages available in Satan’s world. They devote themselves exclusively to Jehovah the GB and serve him, not with some date or deadline in mind, but out of love and loyalty to him and to his Son."

  NEXT, a big fear mongering "evidently, it's probable' then spun as FACT lie they push to fear anointed ones........ "Is it not likely, then, that this part of the parable focuses on what happens just prior to that climactic judgment? It would seem so, for by that time the anointed will have received their final sealing. (NOW ITS FACT)So, then, before the great tribulation starts, all the faithful anointed on earth will have received their final sealing. ( Rev. 7:1-4 ) From then on, their calling is sure. But think about the years before the tribulation begins. What would happen to anointed ones who failed to remain watchful, who lost their integrity? They would lose their heavenly reward. Obviously, they would receive no final sealing prior to the start of the tribulation. (GB wanting to put emphasis on obeying them and whoever isn't going their field circus won't get their sealing)

  it ends with them making this nice claim......

  "Was Jesus saying that many of his anointed servants would prove unfaithful and need to be replaced? No. Remember, he had just warned his “faithful and discreet slave” never to turn into an evil slave. That did not mean that he expected such an outcome. Similarly, this parable conveys a powerful warning. Just as five virgins were foolish and five were discreet - - At the start of this article they admit they have had to be made more discreet, which means the GB was NOT discreet, which means THEY are the foolish virgins.

  What's with this "no windows in kingdom halls" thing?

  i hear many people on this forum say that kh's don't have windows.

  but i have never been to one that didn't have windows.

  is this only in a certain area or something?.

  Because there had been reports that some people would not "pay attention to the important things" during the Sunday brainwash sessions. While they were looking out the window to pass the time by they were missing the spiritual smogresboard from the "faithful and discreet slave" (GB 3:28).
