Virgochik, yup and if they dispute it then the legal proceedings can delay it by months.
With that said, quite possibly those bethelites could be able to sue them as long as a statute of limitations hasn't passed!
yes, last week the number of bethel layoffs was confirmed from 90 to 125. .
and those going in thinking they may be there for some time have been told.
that they may be there for two months rather than 3 years depending on .

if you actually turn your brain on and process what is being said, this article keeps contradicting itself.
"jehovah god created humans with free will, that is, the liberty to choose between one option and another.neither a branch office nor the local congregation elders are authorized to make health-care decisions for a witness.
a christian needs to remember the biblical command to keep abstaining from .
By definition, a summary can't be longer than the thing it's summarizing.
Didn't post the article, just cut and pasted a summary of the article verbatim and translated it to what it really means, hence it's still a summary of the original large article and a translation of the summary.

"JEHOVAH GOD created humans with free will, that is, the liberty to choose between one option and another.Neither a branch office nor the local congregation elders are authorized to make health-care decisions for a Witness. a Christian needs to remember the Biblical command “to keep abstaining from . . . blood.” (Acts 15:29) That would clearly rule out medical treatments that involve taking in whole blood or any of its four major components. Proverbs 14:15 says: “The naive person believes every word, but the shrewd one ponders each step. Reasonableness also holds us back from devoting so much time to health care that spiritual matters are forced into the background. Were we to allow health care to become the main focus of our life, we would run the risk of becoming self-centered.A Christian who is reasonable does not impose his views on others.but was it reasonable to put the unity of the congregation at risk over health care? For a time, Christians in ancient Rome had differing opinions with regard to eating certain foods and observing certain days. What advice did Paul give them? Regarding the latter, he said: “One man judges one day as above another; another judges one day the same as all others; let each one be fully convinced in his own mind.”not every pastime is beneficial, relaxing, or refreshing; nor is it good to engage in recreation too much or too often. ((Imaged of young man studying alone isolated and commenting in meetings while his friend is having a good social life and sleeping in meetings and captioned, "A bible trained conscience can help you avoid dangers"))) Do you plan recreation around theocratic activities, such as meetings, field ministry, and personal study? Or do you find yourself trying to fit theocratic activities between periods of leisure?"
So a summary of what the article actually says. God gave everybody a conscience to help them decide what is right or wrong. Now for healthcare no branch or elders are authorized to make health choices so they can't get sued and forget what we just said about God giving you a conscience, you better not do any blood transfusions or anything with major compents of blood, if your conscience makes you think it's alright it's WRONG and we also won't take responsibility for you listening to us telling you not to take them. Proberbs says a shrewd person doesn't believe everything said but checks. Well this does NOT apply when the believing everything is in regards to what we say, what we say should be accepted without question! Back to healthcare, ignore what your conscience or body says, if your health is taking too much time then ignore it and make sure you don't miss meetings or field service, all of that is more important than being healthy! Paul told the early christians to NOT judge each other based on what they eat, or celebrate, etc. In our day that would mean we don't judge based on what people eat, or if they celebrate birthdays, christmas, etc. However that doesn't apply to us, the GB. We will judge you and tell you what you can and can't eat and celebrate BUT for the tiny slivers of freedom we allow you, don't judge each other on the decisions we allow. For example at conventions when it says 1 paper towel for drying your hands, you may decide you only need 1/2 of a paper towel, do not look down on your brother who used an entire sheet of paper towel because he was allowed 1. You conscience is also wrong on matters of recreation, ignore your God given conscience and just do what we say, mainly, meetings and field service are more important than any type of social life. If you must choose between studying and commenting at meetings but living as a hermit and social reject or social reject who can comment at meetings, then the answer is clearly stay home and study to comment at meetings! So enjoy your God given conscience and don't let anybody judge you on the decisions you make AFTER being sure to listen and follow all aspects of your life including healthcare and recreation by us!
boy oh boy did i feel paranoid at today's wt.
not only are we to watch our associations outside of the congregation, but also watch our associations 'within' the congregation.
this was emphasised by the wt study conductor.

after some considerable thought i have decided that i will no longer post on this forum because i want to return to jehovah.
thank you for all the kindness and many interesting discussions over the years.
i wish you all well in the future and the decisions you make.
i don't have the exact articles offhand but russell taught the jews would be grouped back and have israel again.
after he died and rutherfords failed predictions, he decided to cut that belief saying it was all symbolic.
they dropped that belief then it ends up happening.
Yup! Can't believe that for Rutherfords ENTIRE reign, they taught holy spirit was gone. That Jesus returned so holy spirit no longer needed. THAT is how it became that one can only know 'the truth' through them, because he admitted previously holy spirit could teach ANYBODY.
When he died and knorr took over, slowly holy spirit was put back in EXCEPT they never commented on it and for some reason only GB could get it.
So since the WT was wrong on angels and it going away, I'd love to see the article on how everybody gets holy spirit and can learn the scriptures on their own to only through them.

someone named john free popped in on one of my posts at exmormon[dot]com and mentioned this website.
i have a lot of questions.
i never knew much about about the jw church.
Hey! Great post and I enjoyed hearing about how it is in Mormom church and it's VERY similar with JWs.
The part you mentioned on new members getting love, same with JW's, the love bombing. Then eventually as well after they are official then it wears off and expected to do as all others. The order is the same, and they call ex members apostates or disfellowshipped and those who never been JW's before, those in the world, instead of gentiles are called 'worldly'.
I'll write more later or feel free to message me, I gotta go now but thought I'd at least get started in the comparison for you.
I do want to ask on the Mormon belief of the future, etc. What is the belief of Earth? And the afterlife? I heard something along the lines of Earth is a testing ground and those who pass become a god and get to rule over a planet?
