  When you pair this investigation up with the current WT push to baptise minors, the whole thing looks very nefarious.

  The whole indoctrination of the young is a sick pattern used by WT higher-ups since the days of Rutherford. And the grooming of the young by older men pre-dates that with Russell fondling his not-really "adopted" waif while she sat on his lap as reported by Russell's own wife. In practice the WT leadership has perpetuated the use and abuse of minors for their own sick pleasure and profit.

  Moscow (AsiaNews) – Some Cossacks stormed a Jehovah's Witnesses gathering in the city of Krymsk, in the southern Russian region of Krasnodar. They disrupted the meeting and threw stones at participants, this according to online news website newsru, which cited the Sova Centre, a Russian information and analysis think tank on racism and xenophobia.

  The congress was scheduled for 10-12 July at Krymsk stadium. Participants came from the city of Krymsk itself as well as Anapa, Gelendzhik and Novorossiysk.

  According to eyewitness accounts, police officers with the Cossacks arrived on the morning of 11 July to ensure public order. Suddenly, the lights were turned off, but the public remained calm until generators were brought in and activities resumed.

  Less than an hour later however, the Cossacks began throwing stones at the faithful, putting at risk the safety of those present, as the Jehovah's Witnesses reported in a statement.

  "In the end, the meeting was suspended and the faithful went home before the congress could finish. On the third day, finally, it was not possible to celebrate the service, as planned," read the statement.

  Jehovah's Witnesses accuse the Cossacks of violating their right to religious freedom and slammed the police for doing nothing to prevent the attack.

  The local Prosecutor's Office tried to justify the action against the congress by claiming that the more than 1,500 participants had started an unauthorised procession.

  "The Prosecutor is trying to justify the unjustifiable," some Witnesses said, noting that they did not hold a procession since the event was held in a closed environment with songs, prayers and preaching the Bible.

  For the Witnesses, "Under the existing law, unlike activities in a public place, there is no need to notify officially the authorities if they are conducted indoors. By organising the congress in the stadium, believers followed the law to the letter.”

  For years, Jehovah's Witnesses have faced a number of legal issues in Russia. In March 2015, a court in Krasnodar region described the local community as extremist and ordered the seizure of its local assets. In December 2014, the Supreme Court ruled their website and that of three other religious groups as “extremist”.

  Jehovah's Witnesses are among the religious minorities in the former Soviet Union that have had to endure discrimination the most.

  Although only some 200,000 across in the Russian Federation, they have been accused of sectarianism, "religious extremism", "incitement to social isolation" and actions that undermine societal harmony.

  Russian authorities object to some practices associated with the group, most notably their objection to compulsory military service, refusal to bear arms, opposition to blood transfusions and the demand on members to be totally dedicated to community life.

  I meant Percy Chapman's hand on Knorr's butt cheeks. I knew there was some arse grabbing in that picture!

  Knorr seems quite happy and smiley. But the guy in the background dressed in black is very disapproving of Chapman's fingers up Knorr's cracker.

  june 1915 was the first full month wherein watchtower readers could obtain and read a new publication that had just become available out of brooklyn in the previous month.

  here's how it was announced in the may 1, 1915 watchtower, known then as, zion's watch tower, emphasis ours:.

  Whoa! I was at a return visit with this Mormon couple and the young man quoted me a story of a British soldier in the trenches. The call to charge the enemy lines came. The Brit was in no-mans land among all the ruckus and as the enemy was routed and the noise of battle quieted down, he heard the whistling of a mormon hymn, thinking one of his fellows was still in no-man's land made him think that he might be wounded and could be a mormon too.

  So he went farther away from the trench and on his belly made his way to a bomb crater where the whistling was coming from. To his surprise the fellow was an enemy soldier who'd been bayoneted but still alive though bleeding and probably whistling to distract his mind from the pain of his injury.

  When the enemy soldier saw him appear his face contorted in horror thinking he was probably going to be wounded again and this time for good. But then the British soldier started singing in a soft voice the words of the song, then whistling the tune of that same hymn. The enemy soldier in realization that he was face to face with a fellow mormon, looked up to the heavens, and slumped back with a big sigh.

  Knowing that the enemy soldier was probably near dying from the injury and blood loss, the British soldier took action and grabbing him by the collar of his coat pulled him behind himself as he crawled back to the safety of his trench.

  He saw to it that the enemy was seen by a medic right away and was gurney'd off to a prisoners of war hospital.

  My call recounted this story as proof that God had a hand in bringing these two mormons on opposite sides of the war together to save a life.

  I guess this doesn't happen with Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox or atheist soldiers, only among cults, which is quite interesting.
