I like your idea Gorby. I used to believe it was possible to do this early on in my waking process--to try and help other JW's become more Christian and less cultish.
Here's the rub, though, in order for this to work you need people with a conscience. And as an organization, the JW religion has no conscience. In fact it destroys the human conscience.
Nazis were successful in accomplishing the destruction of conscience through their promotion of duty above all else, intimidation on a personal and organizational level, and the regard of scapegoats and non-conformists as pariahs, subhumans who are worthy of extermination.
The JW religion promotes the destruction of an individual's conscience. It condones the belittling of others not within the group, 7 billion people, as worthy of extermination. It makes dissenters and those who exercise a critical mindset into apostate boogeymen, worthy of being shunned out of physical existence, only to be thought of as unclean, diseased minds--a stench of presence from which to wince away in disgust.
The weight of time and inefficiency was heavy on a Soviet empire that was reluctant to change, it broke rather than bend. Similar pressures brought upon Communist China have forced it to mutate into what survives today--an outdated foundation of oligarchical communism ever more capitalist in practice. China bends, but it bends with the force of a whip. Striping those who dare challenge the sovereigns of ideology and bureaucratic might. With such force it cuts down anyone standing defiantly before it, like the meditating Falun Gong--culled and harvested as replacement body parts for those with the wealth to buy themselves a new kidney, a new liver, a new cornea. A cannibalistic communion practiced on a national level condoned by profiteering Communist Party thugs.
Such is today the JW religious organization, a Communist China style figure-head oligarchy. It rose with tribe of Russell, advanced through the monarchy of Rutherford, expanded under Knorr's empire, and revolutionized itself into the a regicidal junta propped up to oversee the current hierarchical organization of over eight million fanatically religious, proletarian mind drones.
The Chinese Organization Department long ago disrobed itself of any Communist economy trappings. The JW organization long ago divested itself of any Christian ethics and sense of conscience. Misusing the adjective Christian as a snare to entrap the downtrodden and control the indoctrinated with baseless promises of paradisaical rewards in exchange of their minds and the best and most productive years of their lives--the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses is truly and sadly just a capitalistic religious incorporation.
Will China's overreaching forays into capitalism and development bring it to its knees? Will the real-estate grabbing and maniacal building sprees of the JW organization help to bring it down?
My dear Gorby, it would certainly be of help to have awakened JW's make themselves available to comfort the downtrodden, the victims of the conscienceless JW/Watchtower organization--to have folks with a working conscience and a sense of compassion, there to pick up the pieces, the falling crumbs and scraps dropping from the mandibles of the cannibalistic Cyclops that is the JW/Watchtower religion--the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses (aka JW.0rg).
