  I kinda disagree with Atheists/Agnostics being unfamiliar with anything in this list. How do you define 'familiar'? If it's another word for 'belief' then yes, it's unfamiliar. I see unfamiliar as meaning a lack of knowledge and most Atheists/Agnostics have a very familiar knowledge of everything there - they've just learned through logic and critical thinking that there's nothing, or nothing proveable, there to believe in to begin with.

  I never worked for Trim Line myself but certainly knew a few who did and knew vicariously a couple who owned franchises. I remember hearing stories of annual business meetings where they would open with a kingdom song and prayer (and kaiboshed when the JW bigwigs got wind of it) - any truth to those rumors?

  TRUTH NEVER CHANGES

  I know what you mean by this but it's technically not the case. Truth changes all the time - this morning it was true that I was at home and now it's true that I'm at work. That being said, what someone claims as 'truth' should stand up to scrutiny. If I say I'm at work, it should be verifiable by a source other than me. This is the part where the WT breaks down. Scrutinizing their 'truth' via outside sources opens up too many uncomfortable holes and is therefore treated with disdain and suspicion, and any JW choosing to do so is subject to possible apostacy charges if they don't immediately refrain and any non-JW who does so is viewed as Satan's puppet.

  Bloodplates... Can it Really be Justified?

  i was thinking about something.. getting a blood transfution.. thats wrong right?

  oky and theres allot of scriptures supporting that.. so is giving blood at a bloodbank allowed for witnesses?

  no, its not allowed.... oky so heres my question.... witnesses are allowed to use blood plates... where does those blood plates come from?.
