Girls names
by FeelingFree inok so i know its not really anything to do with jwness but we are struggling with baby names and really can't think of one we both like.
its getting a bit desperate as i'm due in about 8 weeks .. i'm getting bored of looking at the same old names on the baby names websites so any suggestions would be much appreciated (girls please).. **cash prize for the one we choose!

I love TNG and have a few favorite episodes, mostly from season 5. "The Perfect Mate" was awesome - Famke Janssen is in it and she does a really good job of being both innocent and seductive. Picard's confusion over the whole thing is what puts it over the top for me. Another favorite from season 5 is "Darmok" because I love saying 'Darmok and Jilaad at Tinagra'. "The Inner Light" is very well done as well where Picard lives an entire lifetime in 30 minutes. And of course, any episode with the Borg is great.

Words that irritate
by punkofnice ini have words that irritate me and not always without reason.. my latest hate is the word: 'solutions' as used by so many businesses in their title these days.
y'know, 'something innane business solutions' and such balderdash.. i loathe that word now.

Maybe it's because I'm fluent in French but when someone ways 'walla' instead of 'voila', I kind of die a little inside. One phrase that gets bandied around my workplace is 'sense of urgency' which has lost all meaning and makes me nuts. Also, when people say 'literally' when they mean 'figuratively'. Oh really? Your eyes literally popped out of your head? That must have been excruciating!

Eventually they're going to have to shed 607 as a starting point, which means 1914 will have to go as well. I doubt this would happen in a meeting like this one, but it will happen within the next couple of years. Then of course, they'll pretend that 1914 was never an important date to them and it was completely misunderstood by the r&f lol.

the wt has presented a distorted view of the theory of evolution.
